In accordance with current regulations, Ferrovial Agroman works on the basis of a Safety Management System, which also includes criteria from OHSAS 18001 standard relating to managing safety and health, as expressed in the Health & Safety policy.

The characteristics of the construction industry, mobility on site and employee rotation make it complex to adhere to regulations on safety at work, the basic objectives of which are as follows:

  • Risk Assessment
  • Preventive Measures
  • Use of human and technical resources
  • Monitor the actions taken to as certain whether the process is functioning correctly or needs to be changed (health is impaired, working conditions change)

Ferrovial Agroman reviews the safety measures every time a new project is drawn up or a service offered, taking a pro-active approach to safety, thereby also improving working conditions.
