(Ferrovial) Because Our Responsibility Does Not Stop with You

Ferrovial has set up several Corporate Responsibility initiatives aligned with the Company’s strategy and with Ferrovial's principles relating to sustainable development:

• Corporate volunteering - Together we make a difference: Ferrovial matches the contributions of its professionals in various volunteering ventures with an amount equivalent to their contribution. Thanks to this initiative, projects have been carried out such as the one developed in Mauritania.
• International volunteering - Maji ni Uhai: various employees in the different areas of the business have taken part in the international cooperation project Maji ni Uhai (Water is life), which Ferrovial is carrying out in Tanzania together with the African NGO AMREF. Our professionals are working in the field, monitoring the project and providing training and skills to local communities. For the two-week period for that they stay, employees give up one week’s vacation time with the additional week being granted by the company.
