Ferrovial is one of the five Ibex-35 companies in the Top Employers Spain 2011 list

Ferrovial has been named by CRF Institute as one of Spain's Top Employers. The certificate acknowledges a company's treatment of its employees, through attractive benefits and labour policies, its recognition and promotion of talent, and the scope for personal and professional advancement. Only five of the Ibex-35 companies were certified as top employers this year.

Madrid, 3 October 2011.- Ferrovial has been named as a Top Employer by the CRF Institute. In the 2011 list, only five companies belong to the Ibex-35 index.

The Top Employers certification recognises companies with superb human resources policies: it indicates that an employer offers excellent working conditions plus very attractive benefits and labour policies, that it rewards talent and retains employees by creating a good professional climate and offering scope for growth on a professional and personal level.

"The Top Employers certificate ratifies the policies we are implementing at Ferrovial, which focus on enhancing our employees' capabilities, providing them with a satisfactory work environment, and attracting talent to work on our future projects," said Jaime Aguirre, Head of Human Resources at Ferrovial.

The CRF undertakes a four-stage process to identify a country's Top Employers: it shortlists qualifying employers, asks them to complete a survey of best practices, conducts a review and external audit of the survey responses, and scores and selects the successful companies.

CRF Institute

CRF Institute was founded in The Netherlands in 1991 with goal of providing independent, objective assessment of companies' initiatives vis-à-vis their employees. Since then, it has developed its own methodology and now operates in 14 countries on four continents. Over 2,500 international firms have participated in the Top Employers system to date.

Using international standards, CRF Institute identifies the companies that stand out in terms of excellent human resources management. Its research is based on analysing HR policies from an objective, independent standpoint.
