Corporate Responsibility

(Ferrovial) Commitments

Content zone

Corporate Responsibility, as Ferrovial interprets it, is a strategic function related to sustainability, competitiveness, and the company’s reputation, and whose function is to create long-term value for stakeholders and for the company.

Ferrovial’s Corporate Responsibility is defined by its Board of Directors and reflected in Ferrovial’s Corporate Code of Conduct, by which the company abides voluntarily.

In the “Declaration of Principles for Sustainable Development”, Ferrovial identifies the 10 relevant issues for managing its corporate responsibility. The declaration was signed in May 2004 by the Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial.

The Ferrovial CSR strategy for the next three years (2010-2013) has recently been unveiled. Aligned with the business strategy, the objective of the plan is to have Ferrovial regain its leadership in this respect and to generate public notoriety through its projects. From the CSR standpoint, the positioning of the new Ferrovial in Intelligent Infrastructures will bring about efficient, accessible and clean infrastructures which are better adapted to society's needs.
