Analysts

Financial specialists who study the company accounts and their future development in order to make future investment decisions both on their own account and for third parties.

  • Financial.
  • ISR (dealing with ESG criteria when recommending an investment).

Government

The body accorded executive power over society by the Constitution, comprising a president and a number of ministers and civil servants.

  • Autonomous regional.
  • Municipal.

Official institutions

These are social and cooperation structures and mechanisms which aim to normalize the behavior of a group of individuals or society. (eg. The Supreme Court)

Regulator

A body which establishes, monitors, reforms and ensures compliance with regulations.

Media

Tool for storing and transmitting information used to disseminate information and/or data.

  • Press, radio, TV, agencies and magazines.
  • General and financial information.
  • Local, regional, national, international.
  • Public /private.  

Associations: voluntary group of individuals

A voluntary group of individuals who voluntarily enter into an agreement to form a body (or organization) to accomplish a specific purpose. The storage and transmission tools used to store and deliver information or data.

Unions

Definition: workers’ organization bringing together employees in order to achieve common goals in strategic areas.

Competitor

Definition: companies with the same corporate activity sharing the same market.

International organization

Organization with international members.

Foundation

Non-profit organizations set up by their creators to use funds on an ongoing basis for general interest purposes.

NGO

Non-governmental organization constituted as a private legal entity and concerned with carrying out humanitarian actions.

  • Altruistic (Social, Human Rights, Environment, Cooperation and Development).

Opinion leader

Individual, group or institution able to influence the opinion of others.

Sub-groups:

  • University.
  • Business schools.
  • Research Centers.
  • Think tank.

Political parties

Political organization which attempts to obtain and hold political power in government normally taking part in electoral procedures.

Sub-groups:

  • In power.
  • Opposition.
