(Ferrovial) Innovation

Innovation has been one of the key values of Ferrovial since it was founded. The Company is committed to the development of intelligent infrastructure. An intelligent technology-based infrastructure is capable of improving the quality of life of its users, sustainably, economically, socially, and environmentally. Ferrovial has been a trendsetter in implementing the intelligent infrastructure concept in its different business units.

In 2010, the Company, in collaboration with the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha (Castile-La Mancha Regional Government), the University of Alcalá de Henares, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, founded the Center for Intelligent Infrastructure Innovation. 

Every year, Ferrovial conducts several R+D+i projects across its four divisions, all of which contribute to improving processes, services, and products. It is also a member of various organizations and is involved in the principal public and private innovation initiatives worldwide to encourage the exchange of experiences and good practices among experts in this field.
