Environmental Management on Site

Every building constructed by Ferrovial has an Environmental Management System which requires the prior assessment of significant impact, control of the environmental behaviour of its suppliers and subcontractors, availability of the environmental legal requirements applicable to the work, and establishment of environmental goals which are materialised in the form of quantifiable corrective measures relating to the eco-efficiency of the work executed.

  • The accumulation of large amounts of CDW (Construction and Demolition Waste), together with soil left over from excavation, is one of the most significant environmental aspects of a building project.
  • Ferrovial projects establish quantified goals to reduce the production of this type of waste.
