So it is not surprising that the British television network ITV decided to dedicate a show to the fascinating day-to-day activity of the airport through the <em>Britain&#8217;s Busiest Airport<\/em> miniseries.<\/p>\n<p>Its three episodes, featuring the airport\u2019s employees and passengers, show how Heathrow staff faces many daily duties and situations \u2013sometimes anecdotal\u2013 24 hours a day: how to prepare <strong>35,000 coffees<\/strong> a day, where do <strong>the most unique lost items<\/strong> go, how the passengers\u2019 pets are taken care of at the <a title=\"Heathrow Airport Reception\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoflondon.gov.uk\/services\/animal-health-welfare\/heathrow-animal-reception-centre\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> HARC (Heathrow Airport Reception Centre)<\/a>, and many other interesting stories.<\/p>\n<p>The show also addresses the airport\u2019s <strong>security<\/strong> measures, particularly on the <strong>operational<\/strong> side, where it is essential to have everything under control. Paul Hooper, also known as \u201cHoops\u201d, a member of the airport staff and one of the stars of the show, says it best: \u201cwhen Heathrow sneezes, the rest of Europe and the world catch a cold\u201d.
