Por un lado, los <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ice.org.uk\/nearyou\/UK-Regions\/London\/ICE-London-Civil-Engineering-Awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premios del Colegio de Ingenieros de Londres<\/a> (ICE) reconocieron los trabajos \u201cde emergencia\u201d elaborados en la infraestructura; por otro lado, los <a href=\"http:\/\/www.transporttimesevents.co.uk\/awards.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premios del Transporte Londinense<\/a> aplaudieron la innovaci\u00f3n de los trabajados desarrollados.<\/p>\n<p>Ambos premios refuerzan el reconocimiento de un proyecto de reparaciones que comenz\u00f3 en diciembre de 2011, cuando <strong>se cerr\u00f3 el paso elevado de Hammersmith despu\u00e9s de que se identificasen defectos en el sistema de tensi\u00f3n<\/strong>. De la mano de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tfl.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transport for London<\/a>, <strong>dise\u00f1amos un nuevo sistema que moderniz\u00f3 el existente sin exigir su desmantelamiento completo<\/strong>.\u00a0El trabajo se realiz\u00f3 entre ambas calzadas, para lo que se levant\u00f3 una nueva mediana, se introdujeron nuevas sujecciones de acero y cemento y se introdujeron nuevos cables maestros. A finales de mayo, parte del paso elevado ya hab\u00eda sido abierto al p\u00fablico, evitando colapsos de circulaci\u00f3n que habr\u00edan sido muy da\u00f1inos para la ciudad de cara a los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos.<\/p>\n<p>En vez de desarrollar el proyecto en 24 meses, lo hicimos en apenas cinco meses: he aqu\u00ed el valor de innovar en vez de seguir siempre los m\u00e9todos establecidos.
