    Civil Engineer (Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid, 1981) and MBA (MIT Sloan School of Management, 1986).

    Chairman of Ferrovial since 2000 and Chief Executive Officer since 1992. Chairman of Cintra from 1998 to 2009.

    Member of the MIT Corporation, the MIT Energy Initiative\u2019s External Advisory Board, the MIT Sloan European Advisory Board, and IESE\u2019s International Advisory Board. He is also a full member of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

    He has served as a board member of Zurich Insurance Group, Banesto and Uralita, and as a member of the Harvard Business School European Advisory Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
