The total for these projects comes to over 8 million euros invested, more than 370,000 individuals directly benefited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>International Cooperation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year we hold an <strong>invitation to tender<\/strong> in which<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en-us\/sustainability\/social\/community-impact\/social-infrastructures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <strong>Spanish not-for-profit organizations<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>may submit their proposals. Based on technical criteria, we select <strong>projects that will intervene in vulnerable communities<\/strong>, in both rural and urban settings, and that seek to alleviate a situation of weakness or lack of infrastructure dedicated to supplying potable water and basic sanitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We participate not only by contributing funds, but <strong>we are also involved in the follow-up and management of projects<\/strong>. We provide technical assistance and we participate in the project by means of employees specializing in the specific area of intervention. <strong>We are more than mere donors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With work visits made to the site, as part of the company\u2019s <strong>corporate volunteer plan<\/strong>, our employees contribute their knowledge and professional experience based on previously identified needs.
