for optimizing building performance, both single buildings and groups of  buildings, in terms of energy, comfort and lifecycle value.<\/p>\n    \n\n\n<p>The  SEEDS (Self-learning Energy Efficient buildings and Open Spaces) project has Ferrovial Construction\u2019s R&amp;D department as a project partner. It is  coordinated by CEMOSA and has been funded through the European Commission\u2019s Seventh Framework Programme for Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project consists of the development of an innovative system for optimizing building performance, both single buildings and groups of buildings, in terms of energy, comfort and lifecycle value, based on building  technologies, and technologies for predictive control, self-learning and  artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using new optimization algorithms, the SEEDS system helps to minimize energy consumption in buildings, while maintaining comfort and air quality within them.
