The project consisted of finishing out the second floor of the Miller Career Center as well as the renovations and additions to portions of the first floor.
The build out consisted of drywall, ACT and gypsum ceilings, flooring, casework, specialties, painting, doors, glazing, ornamental hand rails mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and low voltage work. The renovation included demolition, new classrooms and administration areas and the ground up addition to the existing commons area to include foundation/slab, structural steel, steel stair, masonry, roofing, perforated metal ceilings, aluminum storefront and finishes
Junior and senior students from Cinco Ranch High School, Katy High
School, Mayde Creek High School, Morton Ranch High School, Paetow High
School, Raines High School, Seven Lakes High School, Taylor High
School, and Tompkins High School have the opportunity to take specialized
career and technology programs as well as core classes for half a day at MCTC
while continuing to attend their home high school campus the rest of the school
