Sliding Formwork

“Sliding formwork” is a construction technique for reinforced or prestressed concrete projects without cold joints, in which the processes of reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring and form removal are performed simultaneously and continuously instead of in sequence, as is done in normal construction techniques.

All of these characteristics make this technique preferable for use in very tall structures: the taller the construction, the lower the impact of assembling the crane, the hydraulic system and the sliding formwork.
