The role

• As part of the Ferrovial interface Team offer technical support to the Land Access Manager
• Review and manage accommodation works throughout the C2/C3 route from design to construction
• Meet landowners and agents to discuss the impact of the scheme on the landowners, collate requests/requirements. Liaise directly with the design team, construction team and client team to facilitate requests where appropriate
• Undertakings & Assurance compliance and governance, supporting the wider team
• Monitor and govern a central GIS system holding all accommodation works information
• Land & property technical support, including but not limited to possession meetings, FLAB meetings, accommodation works and access issues
• Help meet KPI for Land Team

Key accountabilities

• Lead a section for accommodation works packages
• Key interface with wider functions within JV
• Manage diary for land possession meetings
• Provide data to different functions as needed e.g. tailored to tenders /sub-contractors
• Direct contract with client
• Support DJV with accommodation works understanding
• Support with performance monitoring
• Root cause analysis on key performance issues
• Raise Technical Queries to design team and client team
• Raise EWN’s when an issue is known
• Discuss PMI requirements with client team and manage process throughout
• Undertake audits /inspections as required
• Document Control

Skills & experience

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels
• Strong organisational and facilitation skills
• Ability to analyse and problem solve
• Ability to interpret complex technical information to make practical business judgement
• Ability to build strong relations internally and externally
• General Civil Engineering understanding

Qualifications:

Essential:
· HNC/HND Engineering related qualification
· Desirable Full Driving Licence
· Can work in an independent way when onsite visits
· Good communication skills

Desirable:
· Land and Orders (CPO/DCO) experience
· Understanding of compensation due to CPO/DCO etc.
· Civil/Construction related degree
· General Civils design experience
· IT skills use of GIS
· Power point and presentation skills
