Job Description:

The Customer Insights Director will be responsible for using data analytics methods and techniques to address strategic business questions posed by management. The Director will use their deep knowledge of data analytic techniques to help establish the methodological approach to address each project and decide the appropriate set of data to be used. You will use data from either proprietary data sets collected from any of Cintra’s global toll road projects and/or with data taken from identified and suitable external sources. Additionally, you will also be responsible for communicating findings with senior management, developing internal data analytic capabilities within the company, and managing the work of other analytics groups. As the Customer Insights Director, you will also be expected to stay up to date on new methods, data sources, and analysis techniques. Although based in Austin, TX, this person will have global responsibilities providing service to projects and groups in North America and Europe.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, scope, and execute a portfolio of data science projects that leverage internal and third-party data to create and maintain an integrated decisioning engine that uses ML/AI models to identify predictive attributes, score customer propensities, measure LTV, and create microsegments that can be used for targeted marketing activities

  • Establish framework and methodologies to consistently measure the performance and effectiveness of marketing and commercial activities across Cintra's concessions

  • Support the development and execution of a platform to streamline experimental design and test & learn capabilities

  • Constantly identify new data sources that can be leveraged to build a holistic view of customers and generate insights

  • Mentor and support the development of team member's analytical skills to produce high-resolution insights that drive value for Cintra

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in STEM related field (Math/Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems) from an accredited college or university

  • 10+ years’ experience delivering predictive analytics solutions to drive commercial growth, marketing ROI, and pricing optimization

  • Proven track record leading and delivering strategic projects, engaging, and influencing cross-functional teams

  • High level of proficiency in SQL, statistical analysis tools, and major programming languages

  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau/Power BI, etc.,)

Professional Qualities:

  • Mindset for research and innovation. Active, curious, and ready to explore new ideas.

  • Superior writing and verbal communication skills, particularly technical report writing skills.

  • Able to summarize and present information and to present and explain findings and conclusions to senior management.

  • Effectively manage tasks and strict deadlines with independence and in an organized way.

  • Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure.

  • Must be able to proactively multitask, problem solve and implement innovative processes within a fast-paced environment.
