Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

Assist the Operations Manager in managing the day to day operations ensuring the contract requirements are met in a cost effective, safe, and efficient manner. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Proactively supervise in a safe, effective, and efficient manner all Tunnel Control Room and Incident Response operations and staff with the goal of meeting contract requirements, and client expectations. 

  • Assist the Operations Manager and project management as required to ensure the successful delivery of contract obligations 

  • Supervise Tunnel Operators in the detection, reporting, assessment, verification and documentation of incident and emergency responses including dispatches to Incident Response Crew and 911 dispatch 

  • Supervise and train Tunnel Operators in the communication and transmitting of real-time traffic information/incidents/emergencies to the TMC and coordinate the response of other supporting emergency agencies 

  • Supervise and train Tunnel Operators on initiating appropriate actions per the incident response protocol including the operation of life safety systems and coordination of on-road incident response by IRC personnel and external agencies 

  • Supervise, lead and train Incident Response Crews on incident response procedures and requirements 

  • Perform security monitoring of tunnel and equipment 

  • Coordinating, tracking, scheduling and documenting of training for Tunnel Control Room and Incident Response staff 

  • 24/7 On-call availability for all Operation related emergencies, events, or issues 

  • Required availability prior to and after a hurricane 

  • Supervise and provide Quality Assurance of Post Incident Reviews documentation 

  • Responsible for completing the Operations section of the monthly Operations and Maintenance report 

  • Supervise, lead, and train Tunnel Operators and Incident Response Teams in the performance of their duties and responsibilities 

  • Coordinate the working schedule of all Tunnel Operators 

  • Supervise and assist the Lead IRC Tech in all matters related to the Incident Response Team 

  • Perform in-depth review of POMT SCADA history logs for all incidents 

  • Review the Daily Shift Log for accuracy and clarity 

  • Review all Event Notifications for clarity and identify opportunities for improvement 

  • Track and report on Operations Control Room Staffing/Operators Incident Participation/Operations & Maintenance Performance Events 

  • Compile Incident Compliance Workbook 

  • All other duties as assigned by Operations Manager

Who is NTE, NTE 35W, and LBJ?

The North Tarrant Express (NTE) was the first design-build-finance-operate-maintain managed lanes project in Texas and consisted of the complete reconstruction of 13.3 miles of the existing I-820/SH-183 corridor between Dallas and Fort Worth. Since opening in October 2014, nine months ahead of the contracted completion date, the general highway lanes are experiencing a 70% decrease in congestion time and a 15% increase in average speed. This Cintra-led project has doubled capacity and significantly improved mobility along this heavily congested corridor that traverses the heart of six cities through Northeast Tarrant County.

The North Tarrant Express 35W (NTE 35W) project spans 16.8 miles from I-30 in downtown Fort Worth to Eagle Parkway at the north end of Alliance Airport. The project is operated and maintained by the Cintra-led consortium in North Texas. This project has improved mobility by adding additional road capacity through a combination of general highway lanes and continuous frontage roads, along with tolled express lanes that use variable pricing to keep traffic moving.

The LBJ Express (LBJ) is currently the largest P3 operation in Texas and one of the largest ever undertaken in the U.S. It is a regionally-significant transportation improvement project in North Texas that is relieving severe congestion in the dense urban area of north Dallas. In 2009, the Cintra-led consortium was selected to complete the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of the project along I-635 and I-35E. Since opening in September 2015, the general highway lanes are realizing a 60% decrease in congestion time and a 10% increase in average speed.

Job Description:

A Senior Legal Counsel position reports directly to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer, Dallas Highways, Secretary to the Board of Directors.  The Senior Legal Counsel will be reviewing, drafting, and negotiating extensive contracts related to the design, construction, and business operations in the transportation industry.  A Senior Legal Counsel will perform a wide variety of legal and compliance functions relating to contracts, corporate governance, corporate compliance, audits, investigations, and claims management. The attorney should be able to work directly with commercial teams to review contracts and create resolutions while protecting the company from exposure to risk.    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  •  Negotiate and draft contracts pertaining to the company’s operations (e.g., construction and professional service contracts, supply agreements, license agreements, employment agreements, real property acquisition and lease agreements). 

  • Assist with Corporate Compliance, including draft and review of internal company policies and procedures, audits, investigations 

  • Assist with Corporate Governance, including corporate company organizational matters, filings, shareholder agreements, data privacy governance, SOX compliance, and Board appointments. 

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Board documents, including surveys, resolutions, and written consents.  

  • Assist with PIA/FOIA, lender obligations, audits, DOT compliance, and FHWA compliance Management of Insurance (PI/PD) Claims. 

  • Research, draft and maintain company records. 

 

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): 

A successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with senior level management, and functioning within an open-door team.  A successful attorney in this role will have an adaptable and organized personality.    To perform this job successfully, an individual must have project management ability and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education & Experience: 

  • Law Degree (J.D.) required 

  • Bar License in Texas 

  • 7-10+ years of substantive experience in business and commercial practice areas of law, including corporate commercial practice, business litigation, and ideally with experience in construction and transportation. 

The successful candidate may have started off as a litigator and/or have prior in-house experience as a corporate attorney but must have strong experience with construction contracts and compliance, be able to assess risks, and possess contract drafting and negotiation experience. 

 

Professional Qualities: 

A successful candidate needs to be detail-oriented, engaging, and reliable. Construction industry familiarity would be ideal, and a large firm background and strong credentials are sought as well.  An understanding and true interest in the infrastructure and construction industry will be key.

About us:

In 2016, the Commonwealth of Virginia selected a Cintra-led consortium to finance, design, build, operate and maintain the express lanes on Interstate 66 Outside the Beltway. The project will transform this critical Northern Virginia artery to relieve congestion, improve safety and provide more predictable travel times. The project corridor extends approximately 22 miles along Interstate 66 from the Capital Beltway (I-495) to Gainesville (US Route 29). Once completed, the project will include three toll-free general-purpose lanes in each direction and two express lanes in each direction with a state-of-the-art open-road electronic toll collection system. Expanded transit service, park-and-ride lots and interchange enhancements will further improve travel along I-66. The project will also connect several shared use paths to create more multimodal options. The Traffic and Revenue Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of the project, focusing on traffic and revenue forecasting, dynamic pricing execution, and performance monitoring. Esta posición se integra en el equipo de obra y trabaja en estrecha colaboración con el Jefe/a de Obra, siendo responsable de la ejecución de las actividades de mantenimiento cíclico, mantenimiento por estado y actuaciones de mejora

Responsabilidades del puesto

  • Coordinar con el Jefe/a de Obra la ejecución de las actividades de mantenimiento cíclico, mantenimiento por estado y actuaciones de mejora de la infraestructura ferroviaria.

  • Supervisar la planificación y control de la producción en obra, asegurando el cumplimiento de plazos y estándares de calidad.

  • Gestionar equipos de trabajo y subcontratistas, promoviendo un entorno colaborativo y eficiente.

  • Controlar costes, recursos y rendimientos, optimizando el uso de materiales y medios técnicos.

  • Velar por el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad y salud en el trabajo.

  • Participar en la elaboración de informes técnicos y seguimiento de indicadores de producción.

  • Detectar y proponer mejoras en los procesos constructivos y de mantenimiento.

  • Colaborar en la interlocución con ADIF y otros agentes implicados en el contrato de mantenimiento.

  • Apoyar en la formación de nuevos integrantes del equipo y en la transmisión de conocimiento técnico.

The Senior Risk Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Risk Management Department across Ferrovial’s operations in the United States, Canada, and Australia. This includes large-scale infrastructure projects in heavy construction, concessions, and airport development. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and coordinate insurance renewal processes, including timeline planning, cost analysis, and broker/insurer communications to ensure timely and accurate policy renewals. 

  • Monitor and manage invoicing for insurance policies, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and proper documentation. 

  • Maintain and update insurance databases and trackers for all active assets across the US, Canada, and Australia. 

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on insurance activities, claims, and coverage across regions, tailored for internal stakeholders and senior leadership. 

  • Analyze insurance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization. 

  • Assist in the management of insurance claims, including documentation, coordination with insurers, and follow-up to ensure timely resolution. 

  • Support internal teams in understanding claim procedures and requirements. 

  • Collaborate with project teams during bidding phases to assess insurance requirements and provide risk-related input. 

  • Review contractual documents to identify and advise on insurance and liability implications. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Law, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance, risk management, or within a broker or insurer environment. 

  • More recent graduates with a degree in Insurance may also be considered based on academic performance and internship experience. 

 

  • Solid understanding of risk management principles, insurance structures, and contractual liability. 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. 

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail. 

  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus. 

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Descripción del rol:

Misión: Bajo la orientación y supervisión del Jefe de Obra, será responsable de la ejecución de la obra y elaborará y reportará los datos económicos y previsiones al Gerente de la UTE.

Funciones: Responsable de la producción de la obra, planificación, organización de los tajos de los encargados, relaciones con los subcontratistas y proveedores, manejo de las aplicaciones de control de costes, Master, APOs.

Requisitos:

Formación: Master en Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos
ITOP, Grado en Ingeniería Civil

Experiencia: al menos 3 años como Jefe/a de Producción, especialmente en en ejecución de carreteras en general (movimiento de tierras, estructuras y firmes)
