Ford: Zero Waste to Landfill
As a result of the “Zero Waste to Landfill” project implemented by Ferrovial Services and Ford none of the waste produced at the Almussafes (Valencia) plant ends up in the landfill; consequently, it can be reused. The project avoids dumping of 15,000 tons of waste per year from Ford’s Valencia plant.

The Ford automobile plant in Valencia is one of the first plants in this industry in Spain to achieve zero waste to landfill. Ferrovial Services is in charge of end-to-end waste Management at the plant.
As a result of the “Zero Waste to Landfill” project implemented by Ferrovial Services and Ford, none of the waste produced at the Almussafes (Valencia) plant ends up in the landfill; consequently, it can be reused. The project avoids dumping of 15,000 tons of waste per year from Ford’s Valencia plant.
The Zero Waste to Landfill Project took five years to implement. Almussafes was one of the first plants to achieve Ford’s target of zero waste to landfill for its European factories. The Almussafes plant produces 400,000 vehicles per year. Ferrovial Services provides end-to-end waste Management services at the plant.
