This commitment is implemented while always respecting mandatory daily rest periods, weekly rest periods, as well as the enjoyment of accrued and paid annual leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Working Time Management and Overtime Control<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To support responsible working time practices, Ferrovial monitors and tracks employees\u2019 working time overruns. In line with applicable regulations, the Company provides appropriate compensation for any extensions of working hours that qualify as overtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rest Periods and Paid Annual Leave<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferrovial ensures that all its employees are entitled to paid annual leave, with the timing and duration of such leave agreed by mutual consent between the employer and the employee. This agreement is reached in accordance with employees\u2019 personal interests and the Company\u2019s organizational and operational needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond statutory requirements in the applicable labor regulations, Ferrovial also ensures that its employees fully enjoy their annual paid leave for periods exceeding those legally established. In some jurisdictions, the Company further offers the possibility of enhancing these conditions through the purchase of additional vacation days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Equal Pay and Fair Compensation Practices<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferrovial ensures equal remuneration for men and women performing work and functions of equal value, preventing any form of discrimination on the grounds of gender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, compensation policies are determined based on individual work experience and performance. Ferrovial analyzes gender pay disparities each year to monitor trends and identify underlying causes, and, in implementing HR systems, conducts reviews to prevent structural wage gaps based on gender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Social Dialogue and Employee Representation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Employee relations and engagement with legal representatives are carried out through collective bargaining processes conducted at both sectoral and company levels, across national and local scopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In all cases, meetings are held on a regular basis through Social Dialogue Committees, as well as Negotiating and Monitoring Committees responsible for overseeing compliance with the various social policies governing the activities and sectors in which the Company operates. At local level, engagement is further conducted through the different collective representation bodies, including Works Councils and Trade Union Representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Collective Separations: Consultation, Notice, and Compensation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Where collective separations occur, Ferrovial complies with the consultation and notice periods established under labor regulations in the different jurisdictions where it operates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In cases where, for organizational reasons, it is not possible to fully comply with such requirements, the Company provides statutory compensation to employees, all in accordance with the applicable legislation in each country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Enhanced Social Protection and Additional Benefits<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to legal requirements, Ferrovial offers numerous enhancements that strengthen workers\u2019 social protection beyond the standards applicable in each territory. These benefits extend the coverage of employment conditions governing the employment relationship, including expanded family and work-life balance leave entitlements, additional paid annual leave days, financial support for social benefits, collective health insurance schemes, collective insurance against accidents for employees and their families, and financial supplements to statutory sickness benefits, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Supply Chain Expectations: Contractors and Partners<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferrovial contractually requires both its contractors and its partners to strictly comply with the labor regulations applicable to the workers assigned to the projects and workplaces in which they collaborate.
