This is the case for spaces such as the old Mediod\u00eda Power Plant (1899), known today as the <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/es\/articulo_inforvial\/edificios-con-nueva-vida\/\" title=\"Edificios con nueva vida Sala de prensa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener noreferrer\">CaixaForum building in Madrid, or the San Telmo Palace <\/a>(1682) (which is currently being restored).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The old plant was restored, renovated and expanded from its original 2,000 m \u2014 full of coal cellars, generators and turbines \u2014 to its current 10,000m \u2014 now used as a exhibition hall thanks to the addition of two underground floors and an above-ground structure. The goal of the palace restoration project was to recover the building\u2019s original structure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Singular Construction, Including Homes <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To carry out all the work mentioned above, you need to work with a professional team \u2014including a construction manager specialized in singular construction \u2014 and historical building conservation experts. Nevertheless, not all singular construction work starts from an existing base.
