En el fondo, a 150 metros de profundidad, un barranco, el de los Tilos, que da nombre a uno de los viaductos m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1ticos de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n    \n\n\n<p>El llamado Arco de los Tilos fue construido por Ferrovial dentro de las obras de la carretera C-830 entre Santa Cruz de la Palma y Puntagorda, en la isla canaria de La Palma. Sobre ellas se posa el tablero, tambi\u00e9n de hormig\u00f3n, de 12 metros de anchura y grosor variable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los tres elementos, arco, tablero y pilares, est\u00e1n en un equilibrio de fuerzas y tensiones que mantiene el caos en orden.
