Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Planner to join our team, based in Birmingham for the HS2 Track project. The Senior Planner role is office-based and will be focused on managing the contract programme, including dealing with client and supporting the commercial team. The role demands leadership skills and initiative to proactively produce and maintain a realistic programme coordinating with our construction and design teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project contractual programme, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and overall project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, commercial leads, project controls, filed engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project data, assess progress, and identify potential risks or delays.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, providing accurate progress reporting and highlighting critical path activities.
- Prepare and submit contract program deliverable, including its narrative and other back-up documents.
- Coordinate with project controls to track and report on project performance using earned value management and other relevant metrics.
- Support the change management process, including the assessment of schedule impacts from changes and variations.
- Mentor and support junior planning staff within the project team in future expansion of the project.
- Generate, update and maintain time-chainages
- Coordinate and lead QSRA analysis
Key Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in planning and scheduling within construction sector (rail systems experience desirable but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Desirable experience in earned value management.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and public sector procurement processes is advantageous.

Job Description:
The Design and Construction (D&C) Manager, as a member of the Operations Department, a highly skilled and specialized team within the organization, is an essential part during the procurement, implementation and operation stages of the company project portfolio. The D&C Manager is responsible for design, construction and environmental related aspects, strategic analysis and management when pursuing new project opportunities.

Analyze pavement grades and forecast durability and costs in the concession projects in order to recommend options for future projects as well as audit and oversee pavement quality on Cintra US’s portfolio

Participates in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks, which may include collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions

Sobre el puesto
El objetivo principal del puesto es supervisar los trabajos de montaje de estructuras bajas, equipos primarios, canalizaciones eléctricas, tendido y conexionado de conductores de control, baja y media tensión, dando cumplimiento a los procedimientos establecidos en el proyecto. llevando el control del programa de trabajo y resolver dudas técnicas de los trabajos acorde a su puesto.
Principales responsabilidades

Participar en la Programación de la producción y responder por su cumplimiento en tiempo y calidad.

Elaborar la programación semanal de las actividades relacionadas a los trabajos encomendados, proyectándolas hasta su finalización, definiendo claramente los requerimientos, en tiempo y cantidad, de Mano de Obra, Materiales, Herramientas y Equipos. Esta programación debe ser actualizada diariamente de acuerdo al avance obtenido y entregada al jefe de Terreno.

Responder por el cumplimiento de las actividades según la programación de los trabajos.

Maximizar la productividad y rendimiento de las cuadrillas a su cargo.

Asegurar y aprobar el control de las medidas y las cantidades relacionadas con las actividades encomendadas.

Supervisar y aprobar el control diario de los equipos, herramientas y vehículos asignados a sus cuadrillas o a las labores encomendadas, y velar porque se mantengan en buen estado de operación.

Supervisar y velar el buen uso, la eficiencia y el desempeño de los recursos asignados tanto de materiales, equipos, herramientas y mano de obra, durante la jornada laboral.

Asistir a reuniones semanales de coordinación de obra y presentar los informes de avance de las actividades encomendadas, los inconvenientes presentados durante el desarrollo de los trabajos y los planes de acción para dar cumplimiento a los plazos y estándares del proyecto, así como informar las actividades a ser ejecutadas para la siguiente semana.

Job Description:
The Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) Manager will oversee the advancement of the I-77 Mobility Partners safety program and lead efforts to enhance the safety culture.
The HSE Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The HSE Manager will verify program effectiveness and compliance by performing regular work site visits (including subcontracted work) and safety observations. The HSE Manager will guide employees on hazard identification and use of critical checks and life-saving controls to eliminate or mitigate hazards.
This position is obligated to stop the job when there is an imminent hazard to the health and well-being of employees, and to protect company property and the environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understands and appropriately influences company strategy as related to HSE compliance and program implementation.

Supports implementation of effective policies, procedures and initiatives.

Works with executive management to define goals to reduce accidents and incidents at the workplace

Development and implementation of Life Saving Controls Program
-
Promote engagement and meaningful feedback from operations employees to identify opportunities for improvement

Conduct regular audits and observations to identify opportunities to improve the overall robustness of the safety program

Report on KPI results for monthly, quarterly and annual results to satisfy local and corporate requirements
-
Work with operations personnel on expectations and management of subcontractor safety (safety plans, training, etc.)

Understand contractual Environmental requirements and environmental regulations to ensure environmental compliance is maintained

Identifies and coordinates health and safety training for all employees via Learning Management System (KPA)
-
Conducts safety meetings/trainings with employees to discuss safety and health matters, specific workplace hazards/mitigations, and employee concerns.

Supervises night shift Safety Specialist and determine work needed and set expectations.
-
Provides coaching and feedback to Safety Specialist as needed.
-
Ensures that safety and health issues are routinely discussed by all levels of management.

Investigates and documents all occupational injuries and illnesses. Work with relevant stakeholders to identify corrective actions(s) that will prevent further occurrences

Support case management of all occupational injuries/illness to include provision of care/treatment, arranging for and monitoring light-duty programs, managing an injured worker’s return to work and supporting HR requests for Worker’s Compensation information

Monitor Consortium to Track DOT drug & alcohol testing, to ensure accurate reporting, random testing

Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations

Collaborates with Operations personnel to support needs related to the Safety Program

Maintains PPE inventory and issuance to new employees

Coordinates Safety Committee meetings and topics for discussion
