Your next calling: 

As the IT Tech Analyst (Operations and Maintenance), you will have the opportunity and responsibility for assessing back-office system operations, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, operating and maintaining the system, and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to the system in the future.

Functions key to success:

• Incident initial debugging, root cause identification and workaround/fix proposal.

• Incident prioritization triaging and prioritization.

• Responsible for end-to-end incident internal ownership and follow up.

• Act as technical first Point-of-contact and analyst.

• Assessment of incidents/problems and coordination with Level-2 and Operation teams based in Spain and other locations in USA.

• Requirement’s intake and Enhancement’s assessment.

• User acceptance test and support.

• Commitment to SLA targets, proactive detection of solutions to improve service.

• Attend daily scheduled and ad hoc meetings with client concerning normal system operation and provide updates concerning open tasks.

• Collaborate with client to better understand business needs, institute standard processes, and promote continuous improvement

• Utilize JIRA to log system maintenance and track system issues

• Monitor system performance using Microsoft Power BI

• Collecting progress made during by the team in Spain before the start of the business activities in the USA.

• Leading daily meetings with concession.

• Working on concession's request such as:

  • Configuration change validations and executions.

  • Manual Start and stop of processes.

  • Collecting information from System's Databases.

  • Analyze systems' performance data. Identify patterns and actions required.

  • Report on alarms occurrence, frequency and meaning.

  • Propose, test and implement critical fixes.

  • Present evidence to the concession on fixes or changes requests.

  • Generate requirements together with the concession and work on the design of coda changes required.

  • Evaluate revenue impacts of actions requested by the concession or originated in incidents.

  • Evaluate traffic patterns in the context of systems KPIs.

  • Monitor SLAs, identify patterns and propose corrective measures.

  • Identify potential risks to the operability of the systems and propose actions.

  • Monitor infrastructure performance and implement changes on the systems required to address potential issues.

What you bring to the table:

You have worked hard to achieve success in your educational career, now put it to use. If you have a ​bachelor’s degree ​ in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, IT Engineering or related field, you are halfway there with the needed abilities for this position. Do you have at least ​5+​ years of experience in Software Development and IT environments operations, DBA and Devops. If the answer is yes, ​you can check off another box. ​

Additionally, experience in back-office systems is highly preferred.

Finally, in a technology-driven world, it is important to know your way around a computer. For this role, it will be important to know the following:

• SQL scripting, creation, execution, and analysis skills.

• Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL database to create and manage stored procedures.

• MongoDB NoSQL to query and manage data

• Advance skills in MicroServices, Containers, Kubernetes, REST APIs,

• Advanced in Core JAVA, .NET, Angular and SW development concepts.

• Azure cloud, Azure Monitoring. Data Lake queries knowledge.

• Basic Dynamics 365 knowledge to analyze and test system functionality. 

• Experience operating in big IT environments and understanding of how to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.

• Functional support to final users.

Our working environment:

Our office is typically quiet with low noise levels; however, you will often hear employees laughing and talking amongst themselves. Effective communication will be key for this role and will require you to talk and hear others. You will probably spend a majority of your time sitting and/or walking around the office, whether to visit a co-worker or make it to a meeting on time and there may be occasional long hours to put in if you are diligently working to complete a project and finish a report. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, as necessary to use a computer.  There could be a time when you may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, but not very often.
