Job Description:

Summary:

The Senior Marketing Specialist leverages a combination of strategic, quantitative, writing, and creative skills to deliver impactful marketing milestones with internal business leaders and outside agency partners. This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing, the team will play an integral role in the success of NextMove by supporting the marketing strategy.

Position Responsibilities:

· Help manage elements of the marketing strategy, including research, budget, planning, and execution of promotional and educational campaigns

· Develops and writes copy for marketing collateral and public relations materials such as, but not limited to press releases, e-blasts, inserts, newsletters, brochures, fliers, fact sheets, calendars, and maps

· Coordinates and manages the social media marketing strategy and metrics

· Prepares a variety of monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data

· Develops, manages, monitors, and maintains projects’ social media content and platforms, as well as reviews and analyzes results

· Manages graphics, photography, and video assets, as well as marketing and communications materials

· Oversee the contractual relationship with the marketing suppliers and the work produced by the marketing agencies

· Monitor and update contents for the companies’ websites

· Work closely with a marketing agency and assisting with new campaign launches

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Education & Experience:

· A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field

· 4-7+ years of exposure to marketing strategy, social media management, internet advertising and ad-spend.

Professional Qualities:

· Sound knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures used in public relations, marketing, and strategic communications with multiple stakeholders

· Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communications skills, with AP style familiarity, are required

· Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly is required

· Ability to organize and execute multiple projects, and pay close to attention to details

Computer Skills:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Photoshop and any graphic design software, such as Cava, experience is a plus

· Expert verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English, including the ability to communicate effectively with audiences of varied responsibility and quantitative understanding

· Experience with social media platforms, monitoring, and measurement tools

· Experience with website management and content development

· Displays imagination and originality in their work; consistently raises new ideas; questions the status quo
