About us:

In 2016, the Commonwealth of Virginia selected a Cintra-led consortium to finance, design, build, operate and maintain the express lanes on Interstate 66 Outside the Beltway. The project will transform this critical Northern Virginia artery to relieve congestion, improve safety and provide more predictable travel times. The project corridor extends approximately 22 miles along Interstate 66 from the Capital Beltway (I-495) to Gainesville (US Route 29). Once completed, the project will include three toll-free general-purpose lanes in each direction and two express lanes in each direction with a state-of-the-art open-road electronic toll collection system. Expanded transit service, park-and-ride lots and interchange enhancements will further improve travel along I-66. The project will also connect several shared use paths to create more multimodal options. As an innovative and efficient public-private partnership, this project will be completed at a $2.5 billion net savings for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Job Description:

Your next calling: 
As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will have the opportunity to prepare the internal and external monthly reports to be circulated to the different Stakeholders.  You will also ensure that the company is in full compliance with all the necessary reports required by the Comprehensive Agreement (CA) and the financing Agreements.  Additionally, you will assist the CFO in preparing and analyzing the budget and the forecasts of the Company.

Functions key to success:

  • Ensure that all the necessary reporting documents are updated and in full compliance per the Comprehensive Agreement (CA) and financing agreements.  
  • Collect necessary information from the department managers to complete internal reporting to Shareholders, such as the Monthly Report for the Board of Directors.
  • Prepare variance analysis between actuals and budget to assist the CFO in preparing monthly reports and budget.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with managers to analyze the variances of the actuals vs budget and to understand the business.
  • Prepare inputs for the update of the Company’s financial projections, budget, forecasts, and 5-year plan.
  • Build analysis reports of information from the Accounting System (SAP) and send to the CFO for review.
  • Teaming up with the Controller to design and distribute reporting packages, coordinate of submissions, consolidation of submissions and performance of sensitivity analysis.
  • Keep and maintain the reporting calendar under the project agreements, lender’s agreements, and shareholder’s reporting requirements.
  • Give a detailed review of month-end Financials and related Financial Analysis.
  • Prepare quarterly presentations for the CEO and CFO to Committees and Board of Directors.
  • Prepare financial information to the different Stakeholders.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:
You have worked hard to achieve success in your educational career, now put it’s time to put it to use. If you have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field and strong knowledge of corporate financial accounting, you are halfway there with the needed abilities for this position. Do you have at least  4 to 7 years of experience in finance with a focus on quantitative analysis and knowledge of indirect and direct cash flow methodsIf the answer is yes, you can check off another box.

Finally, in a technology-driven world, it is important to know your way around a computer. For this role, it will be important to know the basics of the following:

  • Must be able to demonstrate computer proficiency, especially within Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as PC based programs
  • Familiarity with SAP accounting software is preferred
