We are looking for a Transportation Solution IT Manager with a track record in highways and infrastructures industry, driving the definition and development of world-class technology products which supports all functions necessary to operate the projects sponsored its subsidiaries in the US.

Your next calling: 

As Transportation Solutions IT Manager you will coordinate and ensure consistency for all the Tolling and Mobility platforms initiatives executed for the Ferrovial´s concessions in the US. This will include collaboration and management of a wide range of stakeholders like business owners, product managers and agile development teams, to maximize the value that the technology products provide to them.  You will also be ultimately responsible for the delivery of quality warranty products and services to the customers, ensuring their satisfaction and success.  

Functions key to success:

• Collaborate with the Business Lines to identify and define customer needs, understand the Solution Context, and develop the Solution Vision, Roadmap and the Capabilities required to meet them.   
• Manage, coordinate, and have a global vision of the initiatives of the business line, collaborating in the definition and planning of the works and guiding the proper fulfillment of the goals of the initiatives. 
• Collaborate with the Architecture Teams for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across the Solution and ensuring it will fit for its intended purpose.  
• Work together with the Agile Teams to define and implement state of the art delivery practices and quality standards that are consistent across all the initiatives and guarantee the sustainability of the Solution. 
• Manage communication with business stakeholders, focused on overall progress of the initiatives in progress, evolution of the Solution Vision, identification of new opportunities and customer satisfaction. 
•  Foster continuous improvement, innovation and customer satisfaction for highway solutions that incorporate Information Technology (IT). 

What you bring to the table:
You have worked hard to achieve success in your educational career, now put it to use. If you have a ​Bachelor of Science degree, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related field, you are halfway there with the needed abilities for this position. Do you have at least ​min 10​ years of experience working in strategic IT global solutions, with at least 5 years must be in Tolling/Mobility industry. All Electric Tolling/Managed lanes environment preferred but no required.  If the answer is yes, ​you can check off another box. ​

Additionally, experience in back-office systems is highly preferred.

You will probably spend a majority of your time sitting and/or walking around the office, whether to visit a co-worker or make it to a meeting on time and there may be occasional long hours to put in if you are diligently working to complete a project and finish a report. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, as necessary to use a computer.  There could be a time when you may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, but not very often.
