Job Description:
Location: Houston, TX (77039)- This is an in-person role.
Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional overtime
Travel: Negligible
Objective
The position of Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to run an organization efficiently. This position will assist senior management in managing, organizing, scheduling and maintaining information.
Regular Job Duties
- Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook to create documents, respond to inquiries and create spreadsheets
- Organizing daily documents for department or office Prepares and maintain electronic and physical files
- Maintain a highly organized work area and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
- Assist others with additional administrative tasks Write reports, business correspondence, and project documents
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Other unlisted duties will be assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three (3) or more years of experience within the last five (5) years as an
- Administrative Assistant in an accounting support role
- Be able to communicate in English and Spanish via verbal and written communications
- Received a High school Diploma Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Valid driver license for occasional, required travel
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature. Some exposure to outdoors with changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
