What is the purpose of this role?

To maintain high standards of service throughout the facility

What will this role involve?

• Must have own transport and be able to attend various sites throughout Trafford at short notice.
• Will be required to work across a wide variety of locations including Youth/Community Centres, Town Halls, Water Park and Childrens centres.
• Any successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.                                  
• The main duty of this role will be to provide cover for both planned an un-planned absences.
• A flexible approach will be required by any candidate as many of the buildings can remain open until late evening.
• Provide a professional assistance service to those requesting support.
• When there are no sites in need of additional cover, a maintenance plan will be organised this will include, basic painting, minor woodwork, DIY, cleaning etc.
• Complete tasks associated room set up, furniture, equipment and office relocation as required.
• Checking appliances, fittings and general environment are in good working order and all defects reported to Team Leader
• Safekeeping of keys issued for the performing of daily duties.
• General good housekeeping, including litter picking around the grounds if required.
• Carry out minor security duties.
• All other FM duties as required directed by Facilities Manager.

• The ability to attend any responsible site at short notice in reaction to a short notice absence.
• A professional customer/client focussed approach to service delivery.
• Able to demonstrate a committed, flexible and enthusiastic approach to varying duties.
• Ability to follow and adhere to instructions and relevant safety policies and procedures.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• COSHH training.
• Full UK driving licence.
