Core Duties and Responsibilities
Accountable for the delivery of the installation project & Site Safety
Responsible for logistics and interface coordination with other trades
Ensure meeting the overall installation program and resource planning
Responsible for planning and organising the delivery and storage of materials and tools to the site
Responsible for site preparations and follow-up of site progress and readiness
Responsible to coordinate and supervised final testing of the equipment and handover to maintenance
Assistance with site inspection, site quality, surveys and dealing with technical queries. Coordinate partial completion of the works to offer them for inspection, organize benchmarks, factory acceptance tests and plan for a partial and sequential commissioning of the jobs for a successful handover.
Liaison and correspondence with external bodies and thirds parties. In particular, close coordination with the fit out, electrical, fire detection and BMS works to make sure all the systems are fully coordinated.
Assistance with the evaluation of the production executed on site periodically. Review the progress on site, analyze productivity and implement measures to increase efficiency.
Attendance to client, site progress and coordination meetings.
Customer and Sub-contractor relationship management:
Responsible for supervising customer satisfaction and quality of installation
Responsible for sub-contractor quality and safety performance
Point of contact towards the customer and other trades during installation regarding site management
Develops and maintains a cordial and professional relationship with the sub-contractor and other trades.
Skills & experience
General knowledge on British and London Underground (LU) standards, in particular on any particular lifts and escalator requirements
Experience delivering Vertical and horizontal movement systems, preferably for LU or in rail environment.
ICT Knowledge. 3D model CAD systems (Bentley Navigator) preferable.
Ability to manage your own time to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
Enthusiastic and flexible approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate ideas through sketches and drawings. problem solving skills
