About us:

Alamo NEX Construction, LLC is a part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas. In 2021, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction Texas, LLC and DBW, LLC (both Ferrovial Group subsidiaries), to complete the Interstate 35 (I-35) NEX Central Project. Job Description Summary:

The Safety Intern will support the Safety Management team in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment across construction projects. This role offers hands-on experience in implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and supporting compliance efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting site safety inspections and audits

• Support the development and implementation of safety plans and procedures

• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards

• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses

About the Role
The selected candidate will join Ferrovial’s Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, and Corporate Governance department, part of the Group Human Resources function. This role contributes to the execution of the company’s HR strategy, supporting the attraction, retention, and motivation of top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the design, implementation, and updating of global Compensation & Benefits policies and procedures, in alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Collaborate with Business Units on annual salary reviews, objective setting and evaluation, and administration of annual variable compensation (Bonus).
  • Assist in the management of Long-Term Incentive Plans, including participant tracking, onboarding/offboarding, documentation, and database maintenance.
  • Participate in internal and external compensation benchmarking to support hiring and promotion decisions, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Participate in global compensation surveys to define and update salary bands and benefits structures.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal Committees on Compensation & Benefits topics.
  • Collaborate on corporate-level C&B projects.
  • Provide day-to-day support across all operational aspects of the Compensation & Benefits function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Labor Relations and Human Resources or similar

Position Summary: This internship will provide experience in the full cost accounting cycle which includes:

Job Duties

· Establish and enter job budget into accounting system

· Collect delivery tickets

· Verify purchase order pricing

· Process invoices

· Enter invoices

· Enter subcontractor payments and verify their contractual compliance

· Create and enter material, trucking and subcontractor accruals

· Manage project inventory and accruals

· Compare budget to what was entered

· Identify reasons for deviations with budget

· Identify reasons for deviations from monthly/yearly revenue and gross profit forecasts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Candidate currently majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a related 4-year degree program
  • Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
  • Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
