Esta fue la primera fase del programa de mejora de la autopista del Pac\u00edfico entre la Autopista Oxley y Kempsey.<\/p>\n    \n\n\n<p>El proyecto de la Intersecci\u00f3n de Sancrox implic\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n de un puente sobre la autopista del Pac\u00edfico a unos 600 m al sur de la intersecci\u00f3n de carreteras actual de Sancrox, y la construcci\u00f3n de una red de carreteras de servicio local asociada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Caracter\u00edsticas principales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Las carreteras locales incluyeron dos carriles de 3,5 m de ancho y arcenes de 2,0 m de ancho.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Para la construcci\u00f3n del pavimento se combin\u00f3 el uso de asfalto fino sobre base pesada en una zona de material seleccionado y pavimento de base densa graduada con sellado en una zona de material seleccionado<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Se construyeron tres rotondas grandes con una base de hormig\u00f3n reforzado con fibra de acero sobre una base de hormig\u00f3n de mezcla pobre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>El puente sobre la autopista del Pac\u00edfico consisti\u00f3 en una superestructura en T de dos tramos soportada por hormig\u00f3n pretensado.
