Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

The Scheduler will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the schedules of solar energy construction projects to ensure timely completion. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and timelines. 

 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for solar energy construction projects. 

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule creation. 

  • Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly to reflect changes and delays. 

  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to mitigate risks. 

  • Ensure that all project milestones and deadlines are met. 

  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to all relevant parties. 

  • Prepare regular reports on project status and schedule adherence. 

  • Utilize scheduling software and tools to manage and track project timelines. 

  • Assist in resource allocation and management to optimize project efficiency. 

  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. 

  • Maintain documentation and records related to project schedules 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Succes 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience as a scheduler in construction, preferably in solar energy projects. 

  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). 

  • Experience in renewable energy or solar energy construction projects. 

  • Certification in project management or scheduling (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) 

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and best practices. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

  • This position may require occasional travel to project sites. 

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office setting, with some field visits as necessary

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

The position of Scheduler supports the project teams in the planning, development, and updating of the bid schedules, baseline schedules, and monthly updates for project schedules. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Provide training for planning/scheduling practices and P6 software support. 

  • Support the development & approval of the baseline schedule. 

  • Assist the project team to identify risks and opportunities during the initial planning and execution of the project. 

  • Support the project team with the monthly update process – update actuals, update plan, and narrative. 

  • Review & provide analysis & comments on schedule quality, best practices, and compliance per the contract. 

  • Consolidate and report on schedule data for operations management review. 

  • Assist project team with delay or claim management in the schedule (Time Impact Analysis) 

  • Create presentations using graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate status using Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc. 

  • Assist estimating and operations with the development of bid schedules 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar is required 

  • 1+ years of experience in project scheduling 

  • 2 – 4 years' total experience in the construction industry 

  • Proficient using Primavera P6 software developing and managing schedules 

  • Proficiency in critical path methodology to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks 

  • Ability to create and prepare logical Work Breakdown Structure using WBS and activity codes in P6 to effectively build, optimize, and track the plan in P6 

  • Experience using Deltek Acumen Fuse a plus 

  • Federal Project Experience is a plus 

  • DOT Project Experience is a plus 

  • Experience in construction performing task as a Construction Project Engineer – managing quantity, cost and schedule control is a plus (tracking quantities, reviewing cost reports, forecast, schedule updates, etc.)
