The Stewart Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion project included construction of a new process train, modifications to two existing process trains, and miscellaneous improvements.
The first phase modified
the grit pump and piping systems at the headworks, existing aeration
basins, UV system, sludge thickener,
reuse basin, and electrical MCC. Also, PLW Waterworks constructed a new return
activated sludge (RAS) pump station, aeration basin, secondary clarifier,
Parshall flume, rotary drum thickener, ferric chloride facility, conveyance
piping systems, electrical systems, landscaping, new roads and access ways.
