Position Summaries

Crane Operator
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
This position operates either Swing Cab Cranes or Fixed Cab Cranes, must have a valid NCCCO certification required for the relevant crane and state work is being conducted in.  Must be able to follow flagman’s signals, read and understand load charts and rigging Must be able to follow all safety procedures and policies. Must be able to operate any required equipment related to classification. Must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with all employees, clients, field, and safety personnel.
Education and Experience

  • Qualifications for the Crane Operator role are as follows.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience(preferred) operating equipment in the oil and gas or the construction related industries.

CDL Driver
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The drivers are responsible for transporting various materials from one point to another and must adhere to all United States Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations during the process. Drivers, as required by the DOT, have to keep a running log that records their daily work tasks, any accidents that he or she is involved in and the basic condition of the vehicle. The driver has to be familiar with use of technology, be able to drive potential long distances and for extended periods of time along with having the ability to aid in the loading and unloading of cargo that he or she will transport. Drivers work with different sizes and types vehicles (i.e. trucks, trailers, large vans).
Education and Experience

  • Qualifications for the CDL Driver are as follows
  • Must have at least 3 – 5 years of previous Truck Driving / CDL experience. Experience in crude oil hauling highly preferred.
  • Must maintain appropriate CDL license, in current/ good standing.Must have an insurable driving record.
  • Must pass a bi-annual Drivers Physical to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (49 CFR 391.41-391.49).

Equipment Operator
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
This position is able to safely and effectively operate heavy construction equipment. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment; Report defects and repairs to maintenance department. Possess experience operating heavy equipment.
Education and Experience

  • Qualifications for the Equipment Operator are as follows.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or turnaround, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry.
  • Certified to operate required equipment.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

These roles typically works outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Constantly positions self to maintain/use a variety of equipment. Ascends/Descends a ladder or scaffolds frequently. Occasionally lifts equipment weighing up to 60lbs. Enters confined spaces. Performs work wearing personnel protective equipment (Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses). Is able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more.
