Position Summary

This posting represents openings we have for:  Field Admin, QA/QC, Planner, Scheduler, Estimators at any one of our multiple locations.

Position Details

Field Admin
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Timekeeper/Field Administrator is responsible for all interfaces between the Ferrovial Services R&E accounting department and the Client accounting department.  All Payroll, A/P and A/R functions will be routed through this position. Performs all activities necessary to process data for payroll and billing; including time validation and entry, reconciling payroll to billing reports, and processing billing through client systems.
Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; OR two or more years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Outlook. HS Diploma at minimum required.
  • Must have a TWIC card, RSO training, and be able to complete and pass client required site training. 
  • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record required to drive in job sites or a company vehicle.

 
QA/QC
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for assuring compliance to all Quality Control procedures.  This person will work closely with field supervisors to support and provide technical assistance in all matters regarding the Quality execution of our work. Will be responsible for various duties such as Inspection and oversight of welding operations creating and updating weld maps, assigning weld numbers, defining NDE requirements per client and TIMEC procedures, maintaining welder RT percentage log, coordinating NDE & heat treatments.
Education and Experience

  • Role seeks a minimum of 7 years’ recent experience in an occupational function that has a direct relationship to welded assemblies fabricated to a recognized code or standard.
  • Current AWS CWI Certification, including file Room or Document Control Experience.
  • HS Diploma at minimum required.

Planner/Scheduler
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Direct the preparation of estimates for new work, developing a strategic approach for the completion of work packages and work plans and negotiating material and subcontractor quotes. Develops, manages and controls detailed CPM schedules, utilizing Primavera Planning and Scheduling Software, interfacing with the planning staff, all field discipline personnel and engineering staff, and incorporating electronic planning software data within the schedule. Maintains and updates the schedule periodically throughout the Project, and provides verbal and written reports in all aspects of schedule status and forecast to project and site management.  Maintains overall project cost, tracking, forecasting, trending, and reporting.  Prepare / revise and communicates cost control procedures as necessary to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting or real time cost.   Must have a good knowledge of Industrial Construction Work Processes in order to properly sequence, prioritize, and tie logic between all planed and scheduled activities. Must be able to resource and/or cost load all activities within the plan and schedule.
Education and Experience

  • Qualifications for the Planner/Scheduler
  • HS diploma at minimum and must have 8 to 10 years in Construction Management; or have similar tenure and experience in Heavy Industrial Construction/Maintenance or Turnaround work in the oil and gas industry.
  • Must have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience working with scheduling cost controls and/or planning software packages, responsible for software’s utilization at a minimum of two major oil and gas construction or turnaround projects.

Estimator
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes. Walks down unit work list for equipment pre-turnaround and provides man hour and cost estimates to the planners. Must have 2/3 years working in Construction/Industrial or have similar tenure and experience in Heavy Industrial Construction/Maintenance or Turnaround work in the oil and gas industry.
Education and Experience

  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience working with scheduling cost controls and/or planning software packages.
  • HS Diploma at minimum required.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

This role typically works outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Constantly positions self to maintain/use a variety of equipment. Ascends/Descends a ladder or scaffolds frequently. Occasionally lifts equipment weighing up to 60lbs. Enters confined spaces. Performs work wearing personnel protective equipment (Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses). Is able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more.
