Rafael del Pino Calvo-Sotelo

Civil Engineer (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, 1981) and MBA (MIT Sloan School of Management, 1986).

Chairman of Ferrovial since 2000 and Chief Executive Officer since 1992. Chairman of Cintra from 1998 to 2009.

Member of the MIT Corporation, the MIT Energy Initiative’s External Advisory Board, the MIT Sloan European Advisory Board, and IESE’s International Advisory Board. He is also a full member of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

He has served as a board member of Zurich Insurance Group, Banesto and Uralita, and as a member of the Harvard Business School European Advisory Board.

Letter From the Chairman

Ferrovial delivered solid results in 2025, with strong performance across all businesses. The year was quite active in terms of new investments, and the company continued the rotation of mature assets. In December 2025, Ferrovial was included in the Nasdaq-100 Index, reflecting investor confidence in our distinctive business model and growth strategy in the U.S. None of these achievements would have been possible without the dedication of our more than 22,500 professionals around the world.
