AMBIENTECA (SIGMA)

The Ambienteca application, which is an evolution of the previously known SIGMA, was launched in 2011.  

This application  enables business managers to find out about the environmental legal requirements that apply to a given contract in Spain. In addition, the user can run open searches of legislation by topic, activity, area, title or code. 

AMBIENTECA database was adapted to Ferrovial´s Intranet in order to create a new information technology platform that has allowed improving access to environmental information by individual operations, that have been gradually increasing until now, making environmental matters something tangible and close to day by day operations.

AMBIENTECA database allows creating several types of reports, such as:

• Legal requirements associated to a particular kind of building site.
• Legal requirements associated to each activity.
• Legal requirements associated to each theme (water, waste, atmosphere...).
• List of activities associated to each kind of building site, etc.
