Job Description: Architect

The position of Architect will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and reporting on architectural drawings to ensure conformance with the clients’ standards and requirements.

Job Duties:

· Create and review architectural plans for building code compliance, coordinate architectural plan changes, and respond to plan discrepancies and/or questions

· Collaborate with technical teams to understand key project issues and integrate into relevant technical meetings

· Understand and track all architectural reporting requirements

· Identify trends and critical information for the project, and make connections between reports and architectural activity

· Provide advice and assessment about architectural issues and options to achieve cost effective designs

· Synthesize various inputs and types of information into easily digestible deliverables

· Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams as well as external stakeholders

· Assess the needs of end-users, clients, and/or executive management alongside the Senior Project Manager and assist in the development of customized reports

· Assist Senior Project Manager in managing the reporting process with all technical teams

· Assist Senior Project Manager in managing various Project Controls processes

· Distribute reports in a timely and organized manner for clients, lenders, executive management, and other required entities as needed

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university

· Master’s Degree considered a plus

· Minimum 6 years’ experience in architecture within the construction industry

· Experience in delivery of design-build and/or P3 projects in both the pre- and post-award phases required

· Experience working on projects valued at $1 billion+

· Experience working on airport projects considered a plus

· Strong all-around theoretical knowledge of architectural principles

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrated qualities of leadership and hard work

· Strong commitment to high standards, integrity, and ethics

Salaried position with a pay range of $100,000-$120,000 based on experience.

The role

The Design engineer will report directly to the Design Manager and will work closely with the Project Manager, and liaise with the Client, Design Consultants and relevant stakeholders in all matters related to Design and Engineering. You will ensure design is delivered on time and on budget, and comply with the required Quality, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Sustainability standards and requirements. You will also manage the design Contract, including design changes, risk and opportunities. Requisitos:

– Título universitario en Ingeniería Eléctrica, industrial o similar.
– Experiencia mínima de 2 años en proyectos similares.

– Experiencia en herramientas informáticas de cálculos eléctricos.
– Nivel B2 de inglés.

 MISIÓN: 

Su misión será la de llevar a cabo trabajos de delineación eléctrica, mecánica y control necesaria para la presentación de ofertas y para la ejecución de plantas de generación renovable, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
Para ello, utilizará la aplicación propia de Ferrovial para realizar movimientos de tierras en plantas fotovoltaicas, considerando limitaciones del fabricante de estructuras. Además, se encargará de la revisión de planos de detalles realizados por ingeniería externa.

FUNCIONES: 

  • Realizar layout general de plantas fotovoltaicas y eólicas en función de los requisitos de los clientes y los condicionantes del proyecto, buscando en todo momento la optimización de costos.

  • Realizar todos los trabajos de delineación necesarios para el departamentos y proyectos.

  • Realizar las funciones propias de delineación.

REQUISITOS: 

  • Titulación académica de arquitectura o delineación.

  • Nivel avanzado en delineación en software Autocad.

  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en el sector de la energía, especialmente en generación fotovoltaica.

  • Experiencia en delineación eléctrica, básica y de detalle.

  • Experiencia en delineación de ejecución de proyectos de energía

  • Inglés: B2
