Job Title: Human Resources Intern

General Overview:

The Human Resources Intern will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department. This internship offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, staff communications, and support for immigration and employment eligibility compliance activities (as applicable). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in advancing their knowledge of human resources in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Process new hire paperwork for immigration and compliance purposes, update employee records, and manage information changes efficiently

· Coordinate immigration-related documentation and timelines (as applicable) to help ensure employees are work-authorized and ready for a timely start date

· Support employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) processes by preparing packets, helping schedule verifications/reverifications, and ensuring documents are filed accurately and on time

· Maintain trackers for immigration and work authorization documentation (e.g., expirations, renewals) and escalate upcoming deadlines to the Immigration Manager

· Assist with internal audits and compliance requests by pulling supporting documentation, organizing records, and preparing summaries under supervision

Buscamos un/a Técnico/a Superior de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales para integrarse en nuestro equipo de edificación en Madrid. Será responsable de garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa de seguridad y salud en las obras, promoviendo una cultura preventiva y minimizando riesgos.
 

Funciones:
* Implementar y asegurar el cumplimiento del Plan de Seguridad y Salud en las obras de edificación asignadas.
* Realizar inspecciones periódicas en obra para detectar condiciones inseguras y actos subestándar, proponiendo medidas correctoras.
* Investigar los accidentes e incidentes laborales, determinando sus causas y proponiendo acciones preventivas para evitar su repetición.
* Asesorar a la dirección de obra y al personal sobre las normativas de prevención de riesgos laborales y buenas prácticas.
* Colaborar en la elaboración y actualización de la evaluación de riesgos, así como en la planificación de la actividad preventiva.
* Impartir formación e información a los trabajadores sobre seguridad y salud en el puesto de trabajo.
* Coordinar actividades empresariales (CAE) con subcontratistas, asegurando el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones en materia de PRL.
* Gestionar la documentación de prevención de riesgos laborales (permisos de trabajo, registros, etc.).
* Participar en las reuniones de seguridad y salud, y en la comunicación interna sobre prevención.

Requisitos:
* Titulación Universitaria (Ingeniería, Arquitectura, etc.) y Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales con las tres especialidades (Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía y Psicosociología Aplicada).
* Experiencia deseable de 1-3 años como Técnico/a Superior de PRL en obras de edificación, preferiblemente en grandes proyectos.
* Conocimiento profundo de la legislación vigente en materia de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
* Capacidad para identificar, evaluar y controlar riesgos laborales específicos del sector de la construcción.

Buscamos un/a Encargado/a de Obra con experiencia para supervisar y coordinar las actividades de construcción en nuestro proyecto de Edar en Sagunto, Valencia. El/la candidato/a ideal será responsable de asegurar que el proyecto se complete a tiempo, dentro del presupuesto y cumpliendo con los más altos estándares de calidad y seguridad.

Responsabilidades:**

* Planificar, organizar y supervisar las actividades diarias en la obra, incluyendo la asignación de tareas al personal y subcontratistas.
* Coordinar con el jefe de obra y otros profesionales para garantizar la correcta ejecución del proyecto.
* Asegurar el cumplimiento de los planos, especificaciones técnicas y normativas de seguridad.
* Gestionar y controlar los materiales, equipos y recursos necesarios para la obra.
* Realizar inspecciones periódicas para garantizar la calidad del trabajo y la seguridad en la obra.
* Resolver problemas y tomar decisiones rápidas y efectivas para evitar retrasos en el proyecto.
* Mantener una comunicación fluida con el equipo de obra, subcontratistas y la dirección de la empresa.
* Elaborar informes de progreso diarios y semanales.
* Participar en reuniones de coordinación y seguimiento del proyecto.

Cualificaciones:**

* Formación técnica en edificación, ingeniería civil o similar (FP Superior, Grado o similar).

**Resumen del Puesto**

Buscamos un Encargado de Estructuras y/o Túneles para supervisar y coordinar la ejecución de obras de infraestructura lineal (ferroviaria o carretera) en las provincias de Burgos y/o Valladolid. El candidato ideal tendrá experiencia demostrada en el control de equipos, materiales y subcontratas, asegurando la correcta ejecución de los trabajos según plazos, costes y estándares de calidad y seguridad.

**Responsabilidades del Puesto**

* Supervisar y coordinar la ejecución de todas las actividades relacionadas con la construcción de estructuras (puentes, viaductos, muros, etc.) y/o túneles (perforación, sostenimiento, revestimiento, etc.).
* Dirigir y motivar al personal a su cargo, incluyendo equipos propios y subcontratas, asignando tareas y controlando su rendimiento.
* Controlar la calidad de los trabajos realizados, asegurando el cumplimiento de las especificaciones técnicas del proyecto y la normativa vigente.
* Velar por el cumplimiento estricto de las normas de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, promoviendo una cultura de prevención de riesgos.
* Gestionar y optimizar los recursos materiales y equipos asignados a la obra, realizando el seguimiento de consumos y rendimientos.
* Colaborar activamente con la oficina técnica y la dirección de obra en la resolución de incidencias y la optimización de procesos constructivos.
* Realizar el seguimiento del cronograma de obra, identificando posibles desviaciones y proponiendo medidas correctoras.
* Registrar y reportar diariamente el avance de los trabajos, las incidencias, el personal y la maquinaria utilizada.

**Cualificaciones del Puesto**

* Formación profesional de Grado Superior en Construcción, Obras Públicas, o Ingeniería Civil (o equivalente).
* Experiencia mínima de 5 años como Encargado de Obra, con probada experiencia en la construcción de estructuras y/o túneles, preferiblemente en infraestructuras lineales (ferrocarril, carreteras).
* Conocimiento profundo de los procesos constructivos, maquinaria y materiales específicos para estructuras y/o túneles.
* Capacidad demostrada para la gestión de equipos de trabajo y subcontratas.
* Dominio en la interpretación de planos y especificaciones técnicas.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, assists in the development and implementation of the I-77 safety program; conduct work site safety observations and incident investigations; support initiatives to educate and train employees about health and safety regulations and precautions to ensure a safe work environment.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Participates/assists in the development and implementation of safety programs related to Maintenance and Tolling activities, and other OSHA safety compliance programs. 

  • Advises the Operations & Maintenance, and ITS staff on safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of workers as regulatory compliance as mandated by local, state, and federal agencies, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), ANSI, and NFPA. 

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and assess risks associated with various work activities.  

  • Assigns, develops and delivers training to employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) 

  • Assists with ordering necessary safety supplies and equipment (PPE, etc.)  

  • Perform regular and follow-up inspections of facility, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance.  

  • Support response and closure of follow up items and corrective actions.  

  • Investigates incidents, injuries, and near misses to determine needed corrective actions.  

  • Maintains accurate records of all training, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.  

  • Supports management of emergency situations which include the development and implementation of emergency response plans, provide oversight for annual required drills, and spill response.  

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 

  • Monitors compliance to safety protocols and requirements for subcontracted work. 

  • Administrator of Learning Management System (KPA)  

 

Minimum Job Requirements 

  • Associates degree; at least 3 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified. 

  • Prior work experience in conducting safety audits and hazard assessments. 

  • Working knowledge of the OSHA 1910 General Industry Standard (OSHA 1926 knowledge preferred)

  • Skill in performing safety inspections ensuring compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA safety standards. 

  • Attention to detail is crucial for identifying hazards, documenting incidents, and ensuring compliance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for training, report writing, and interacting with diverse populations.

  • Ability to assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement control measures.  

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across all levels of an organization  

  • Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and protocols. 

  • Proficiency in recognizing and evaluating potential hazards in the workplace, including industrial hygiene practices.

Conditions of Employment 

  • A valid driver’s license in good standing and be able to successfully pass a background screening. 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort 

  • Adapt to various settings, including office, and various outdoor project locations. A sizable portion of time will be spent outdoors on project sites conducting inspections, environmental oversight, and providing safety oversight for worksite job operations 

  • Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. 

  • Travel to different project job site which could be physically demanding.  

  • While implementing safety measures, you will be exposed to the same hazards you are working to mitigate. The use of PPE will be required to minimize these risks: hardhat, safety glasses, safety vests, safety shoes, and gloves.
