I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is financing, developing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the 26-mile I-77 Express project as part of a public-private partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. About the Role:

Under general supervision, assists in the development and implementation of the I-77 safety program; conduct work site safety observations and incident investigations; support initiatives to educate and train employees about health and safety regulations and precautions to ensure a safe work environment.

Work Shift: Monday thru Thursday | 8 PM to 6 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates/assists in the development and implementation of safety programs related to Maintenance and Tolling activities, and other OSHA safety compliance programs.

  • Advises the Operations & Maintenance, and ITS staff on safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of workers as regulatory compliance as mandated by local, state, and federal agencies, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), ANSI, and NFPA.

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and assess risks associated with various work activities.

  • Assigns, develops and delivers training to employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Assists with ordering necessary safety supplies and equipment (PPE, etc.)

  • Perform regular and follow-up inspections of facility, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

  • Support response and closure of follow up items and corrective actions.

  • Investigates incidents, injuries, and near misses to determine needed corrective actions.

  • Maintains accurate records of all training, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

  • Supports management of emergency situations which include the development and implementation of emergency response plans, provide oversight for annual required drills, and spill response.

Qualifications:

Travel to different project job sites which could be physically demanding.

    Ferrovial Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Legal Intern to join its Legal Department and support the business across a wide range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and development-related matters. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal aspects of a fast-growing digital infrastructure platform, working closely with investment, development, finance, and operational teams in an international environment.

    The successful candidate will contribute to strategic projects related to digital infrastructure development, corporate governance, transactions, compliance, and legal operations, while developing a broad understanding of the legal challenges associated with large-scale infrastructure and technology-driven businesses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the preparation, review and management of a wide range of legal documents, including corporate, commercial, contractual, and governance-related agreements.

    At Ferrovial, we are now open for applications to the North America Early Talent Program, an international initiative aimed at identifying and training junior talent interested in pursuing a professional career in the United States and/or Canada.

    The program combines a practical approach—through virtual sessions that will provide insight into the fundamentals of construction in the United States and Canada—with visits to real-world projects in Spain, with the goal of offering direct exposure to the business in different markets and to Ferrovial’s projects.

    Who is it for?

    The program is designed for civil and industrial engineering students—particularly those in their final or penultimate years—who are interested in building an international career in the infrastructure, construction, and project sectors in the U.S. and Canadian markets.

    What does the program offer?

    Selected participants will take part in a learning program from November 2026 to May 2027, consisting of 8 virtual sessions and 1 site visit in Spain.
    During the program, participants will cover topics related to Ferrovial’s global vision, the U.S. market, strategy, key projects, bidding, cost estimates, safety, quality, sustainability, engineering, innovation, digital construction, contract management, and international career development.
    The program also includes the possibility of joining the company through an internship or graduate program in Spain for one year, followed by a potential assignment in the United States, depending on business needs and the participant’s progress.

    Number of available spots

    There are 30 spots available in the program.

    Registration and Selection Process

    The program will be promoted in September, targeting civil and industrial engineering schools in Spain, as well as students in the United States who have already expressed interest.

    The selection process will take place in October and will be led by the global Talent Acquisition team in coordination with the talent teams in the United States and Canada, with a joint selection of the final candidates.

      Resumen del Puesto:

      Buscamos un/a Técnico/a de Calidad y Medioambiente para nuestra sede en Castellón. La persona seleccionada será responsable de asegurar el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad y medioambientales en nuestros proyectos de construcción, contribuyendo a la mejora continua y a la sostenibilidad de nuestras operaciones.

      Responsabilidades:

      * Implementar y mantener los sistemas de gestión de calidad y medio ambiente (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) en los proyectos asignados.
      * Realizar inspecciones y auditorías internas para verificar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos y normativas establecidas.
      * Identificar, analizar y gestionar no conformidades, proponiendo e implementando acciones correctivas y preventivas.
      * Elaborar informes de seguimiento, indicadores de desempeño y documentación técnica relacionada con calidad y medio ambiente.
      * Colaborar en la identificación de riesgos y oportunidades, así como en la evaluación de impactos ambientales.
      * Asesorar y formar al personal en materia de calidad y medio ambiente.

      Buscamos un/a Técnico/a Superior de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales para integrarse en nuestro equipo de edificación en Madrid. Será responsable de garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa de seguridad y salud en las obras, promoviendo una cultura preventiva y minimizando riesgos.
       

      Funciones:
      * Implementar y asegurar el cumplimiento del Plan de Seguridad y Salud en las obras de edificación asignadas.
      * Realizar inspecciones periódicas en obra para detectar condiciones inseguras y actos subestándar, proponiendo medidas correctoras.
      * Investigar los accidentes e incidentes laborales, determinando sus causas y proponiendo acciones preventivas para evitar su repetición.
      * Asesorar a la dirección de obra y al personal sobre las normativas de prevención de riesgos laborales y buenas prácticas.
      * Colaborar en la elaboración y actualización de la evaluación de riesgos, así como en la planificación de la actividad preventiva.
      * Impartir formación e información a los trabajadores sobre seguridad y salud en el puesto de trabajo.
      * Coordinar actividades empresariales (CAE) con subcontratistas, asegurando el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones en materia de PRL.
      * Gestionar la documentación de prevención de riesgos laborales (permisos de trabajo, registros, etc.).
      * Participar en las reuniones de seguridad y salud, y en la comunicación interna sobre prevención.

      Requisitos:
      * Titulación Universitaria (Ingeniería, Arquitectura, etc.) y Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales con las tres especialidades (Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía y Psicosociología Aplicada).
      * Experiencia deseable de 1-3 años como Técnico/a Superior de PRL en obras de edificación, preferiblemente en grandes proyectos.
      * Conocimiento profundo de la legislación vigente en materia de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
      * Capacidad para identificar, evaluar y controlar riesgos laborales específicos del sector de la construcción.
      * Habilidades comunicativas y de negociación para interactuar con diferentes niveles de la organización y subcontratistas.
      * Proactividad, autonomía y capacidad de resolución de problemas.
      * Disponibilidad para desplazarse a las diferentes obras en la Comunidad de Madrid.
      * Carnet de conducir B.

      Who is NTE, NTE 35W, and LBJ?

      The North Tarrant Express (NTE) was the first design-build-finance-operate-maintain managed lanes project in Texas and consisted of the complete reconstruction of 13.3 miles of the existing I-820/SH-183 corridor between Dallas and Fort Worth. Since opening in October 2014, nine months ahead of the contracted completion date, the general highway lanes are experiencing a 70% decrease in congestion time and a 15% increase in average speed. This Cintra-led project has doubled capacity and significantly improved mobility along this heavily congested corridor that traverses the heart of six cities through Northeast Tarrant County.

      The North Tarrant Express 35W (NTE 35W) project spans 16.8 miles from I-30 in downtown Fort Worth to Eagle Parkway at the north end of Alliance Airport. The project is operated and maintained by the Cintra-led consortium in North Texas. This project has improved mobility by adding additional road capacity through a combination of general highway lanes and continuous frontage roads, along with tolled express lanes that use variable pricing to keep traffic moving.

      The LBJ Express (LBJ) is currently the largest P3 operation in Texas and one of the largest ever undertaken in the U.S. It is a regionally-significant transportation improvement project in North Texas that is relieving severe congestion in the dense urban area of north Dallas. In 2009, the Cintra-led consortium was selected to complete the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of the project along I-635 and I-35E. Since opening in September 2015, the general highway lanes are realizing a 60% decrease in congestion time and a 10% increase in average speed.

      Job Description:

      The Operations Engineer, as a member of the Roadway Operations Department, is responsible for the managing and monitoring all infrastructure renewal campaigns of the assets and of the new construction projects during the operations phase at LBJ, NTE and NTE3 highways. The ideal candidate requires to have a highways construction background and to be competent in data analysis, quality, design and project management to ensure optimal lifecycle renewal/refurbishment/repair works/new construction works (CAPEX works) for the assets of the highways. The individual will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with the LBJ’s and NTE’s COOs, managers, engineers and employees, and external parties (contractors and consultants).
