Job Description:
As a Traffic Management Center (TMC) Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring the roadways including detecting, confirming, updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic incidents, congestion, and monitoring of dynamic toll pricing on the I-77 MP’s Managed Lanes Projects. The operator position is the eyes and ears for detection and management of all activities being handled by the TMC. You will provide administrative support to the Operations and Maintenance department for efficient operations.
Functions key to success:
- Serve as the point of contact for third parties requiring assistance on the I-77 Express Lanes Project (general public, NCDOT, NCDOT TMC, emergency responders, etc.), and dispatching incident support when needed
- Monitor CCTV from within the Traffic Management Center (TMC) and dispatch support personnel to remove abandoned vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and provide incident management support
- Refer calls concerning customer comments and/or complaints to the Corporate Affairs Department
- Assist to process and input data into the maintenance management system and generate monthly and quarterly reports
- Maintain an accurate record of events and log data
- Assist in the efficient transfer of data, activities, and schedules
- Prepare routine and complex correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports
- Assist in the preparation of operating procedures, procurement and purchase processes
- Filing of hardcopies of logs, forms, records, correspondence, and documents and loading files in the electronic document management system
- Establish and maintain filing systems and support document control
- Coordinate, collect and prepare information packet required for submittal of insurance claims
- Provide human resources administrative functions for the O&M department
- Responsible for coordinating meeting arrangements
- Greet visitors, field calls, and take messages
- Other administrative/support duties as assigned
What you bring to the table:
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred in related transportation / technical field, or directly relative experience in a TMC environment
- 0-3+ years of experience required, in a transportation, public safety, or commercial operations environment or similar

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of project vehicles and equipment by executing expertise in repairing all types of vehicles and equipment through inspection and servicing of all vehicles, holding performance testing and replacing or repairing defective vehicle components, diagnose of operational issues and complying with provincial requirements.

- Thoroughly inspecting vehicles and equipment and detecting any malfunctions or damages and performing repairs or replacements as needed using proper tools and equipment
- Placing orders for necessary spare parts and ensuring the timely procurement of the same
- Diagnose problems and vehicle operation issues and recommend change of parts or any other necessary services for the vehicle
- Accurate daily maintenance records/reports and preparation of cost estimates for repairs and service requests.
- Ensuring all company vehicles and equipment are safe pass inspections and comply with provincial standards and regulations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with customers/employees.
- Ability to detect malfunctions and a sound understanding of using all repair tools, equipment and testing machinery.
- Must have a good understanding of current principles, techniques and practices used in repairing and maintaining vehicles as well as electronic/electrical and hydraulic systems used in vehicles.

Position Summary
Responsible for maintenance, servicing and repairs of roads and other infrastructure assets. This individual will be responsible for maintaining contracted assets (such as roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, bridges, tunnels, vegetation, etc.) per standards in the contract and as directed by supervisor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T) control by setup and removal of traffic control devices including cones, message/arrow boards, temporary signage, etc.
- Must be comfortable working from heights in bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders and aerial platforms lifts.
- Basic maintenance and repair of bridge structures and equipment rooms including portals, railings, expansion joints, doors, and painting as required.
- Repairs/maintains functionality of roadway catch basins, sumps and pumps, fire hydrants and other mechanical assets through use of shovels and other hand or power tools and equipment.
- Repairs/maintains functionality of equipment room ventilation systems

Position Summary
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of project vehicles and equipment by executing expertise in repairing all types of vehicles and equipment through inspection and servicing of all vehicles, holding performance testing and replacing or repairing defective vehicle components, diagnose of operational issues and complying with provincial requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Thoroughly inspecting vehicles and equipment and detecting any malfunctions or damages and performing repairs or replacements as needed using proper tools and equipment
- Placing orders for necessary spare parts and ensuring the timely procurement of the same
- Diagnose problems and vehicle operation issues and recommend change of parts or any other necessary services for the vehicle
- Accurate daily maintenance records/reports and preparation of cost estimates for repairs and service requests.
- Ensuring all company vehicles and equipment are safe pass inspections and comply with provincial standards and regulations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with customers/employees.

About us:
Alamo NEX Construction, LLC is a part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas. In 2021, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction Texas, LLC and DBW, LLC (both Ferrovial Group subsidiaries), to complete the Interstate 35 (I-35) NEX Central Project. This project is a $1.5 billion Texas Design-Build (DB) project through the cities of San Antonio, Live Oak, Selma, and Schertz that will consist of non-tolled improvements along I-35, I-140, and Loop 1604. The proposed improvements will include the addition of elevated managed lanes to I-35, addition of 4 connector bridges at the I-35/I-410 North interchange, addition of 4 connector bridges at the I-35/Loop 1604 interchange, and widening of Loop 1604 in Bexar and Guadalupe Counties.

Position Summary:
Operates welding equipment.
Job Duties

Cuts, lays out, fits and welds metals or alloyed metal parts to fabricate or repair equipment.

Welds the joints between lengths of pipe for oil, gas or other types of pipelines.

Welds structural steel girders and diaphragms.

May assist in welding of permanent metal deck forms.

Whatever enhances the operations of the company.
Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required

Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications

Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
