Position Summary

Provides leadership, direct and indirect supervision of maintenance crews while performing daily work activities of maintaining contracted assets. Job Description: Operates a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket. Used for excavating ditches, structures and mass excavations, laying pipe and precast concrete structures, loading trucks and placing rock riprap. Licenses and Certifications: Texas Drivers License with proper endorsements, depending on assignment.

Various responsibilities may include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting pipes, using welding techniques to join them together, installing valves and pumps, performing regular inspections, and replacing worn or damaged components.
