The Senior Risk Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Risk Management Department across Ferrovial’s operations in the United States, Canada, and Australia. This includes large-scale infrastructure projects in heavy construction, concessions, and airport development. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and coordinate insurance renewal processes, including timeline planning, cost analysis, and broker/insurer communications to ensure timely and accurate policy renewals. 

  • Monitor and manage invoicing for insurance policies, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and proper documentation. 

  • Maintain and update insurance databases and trackers for all active assets across the US, Canada, and Australia. 

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on insurance activities, claims, and coverage across regions, tailored for internal stakeholders and senior leadership. 

  • Analyze insurance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization. 

  • Assist in the management of insurance claims, including documentation, coordination with insurers, and follow-up to ensure timely resolution. 

  • Support internal teams in understanding claim procedures and requirements. 

  • Collaborate with project teams during bidding phases to assess insurance requirements and provide risk-related input. 

  • Review contractual documents to identify and advise on insurance and liability implications. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Law, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance, risk management, or within a broker or insurer environment. 

  • More recent graduates with a degree in Insurance may also be considered based on academic performance and internship experience. 

 

  • Solid understanding of risk management principles, insurance structures, and contractual liability. 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Job Description:

The Operations Engineer works in roadway operations and maintenance and is part of the roadway operations and maintenance department. This individual requires competency in data collection and its’ consequent analysis to obtain efficient and practicable actions for the daily operations of the highway. This individual will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with C-suite management, engineers, employees, and external parties (contractors and consultants). He/she will also be responsible for attending future meetings with state and local officials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develops and monitors any operational improvements to be performed on the highway

· Assist and controls, prepares, and schedules any corrective action required to improve asset conditions, complying with the due defect cure time

· Assists in preparation of the O&M annual budget and the Capital Expenditure model for the project

· Cooperates with the Financial department in the achievement of the annual budget’s improvement goals

· Assists management in the review and approval of all plans, payments, and change orders for contracts

· Develop recommendations to address O&M concerns and work with the Operations Manager and Maintenance Manager as necessary to achieve resolution of the items

· Coordinate with project partners and stakeholders, including the project owner, subcontractors, local government entities, businesses, and the public to communicate O&M activities and address related concerns

· Provide technical information and support to other departments within the company to support their activities as they relate to the Operation and Maintenance of the project

· Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings and calculations, which may include supervising the production of these drawings when applicable for specific project

· Perform data acquisition and analysis, researching the feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions and/or regulatory agency specifications or regulations

· Works closely with Operations Manager and Maintenance Manager to coordinate roadway maintenance activities, assisting in all technical issues that might be needed and defining and monitoring policies and procedures

· Track the development and completion of specific maintenance activities develop in the highway

· Assist in the research and analysis of data, dashboards creation, to detect trends and pursue operational improvements in the highway

· Prepare business cases to assess the optimum alternative for different operations in the highway

· Works closely with the Traffic Management Center for the right tracking and monitoring of traffic related data (accidents, assistances, etc.)

· In coordination with Cintra US headquarters, develops, implements, and manages asset management tool (Salesforce) and other tools and systems (GIS, data analytics platforms, etc.), looking for more innovative and efficient ways to enhance the asset management tools

· Support the roadway maintenance team through guidance with the asset management system

· Develop ordinary updates or any improvement required in the GIS model for the concession

· Supervises field project inspections during annual quality inspections, or as needed

· Assist on preparation and submittal, if necessary, on monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for inclusion into the Comprehensive Agreement (CA) or Development Management Plan required reports (DMP)

· Ensures full compliance with the CA’s O&M Measurement and Performance Table for the project

· Prepares and revises the relevant department areas of the DMP

· Actively promotes the safety of the department and the employees

· Prepares RFPs, agreements and oversees any other technical advisory services or surveys which might be needed and according with NCDOT standards

· Perform other job-related duties as needed

About us:

North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC is one of the subsidiaries of the Ferrovial Group in the U.S. It is currently working on several projects in the U.S., including the North Tarrant Express (NTE) Projects (“NTE Projects”). The NTE Extension Project is a part of the NTE Projects, which consist of a series of major highway improvements to the critical I-820 and SH-121/183 corridor in North Tarrant County, Texas. The NTE Projects will relieve congestion, improve safety, and provide for anticipated traffic growth in one of the country’s fastest developing regions. The NTE First Project was a $1.451 billion design-build project consisting of rebuilding the existing main lanes as well as adding four toll-managed lanes, frontage roads and auxiliary lanes in the corridor between I-35 West and Industrial Boulevard. The NTE Extension Project is the next part of the NTE Projects. The construction of the original $984 million part of the project (Segment 3A) was completed by North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC, and the current $580.5 million part (Segment 3C) of the NTE Extension Project is presently being carried out by North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC.

Job Description:

North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC 

The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under time constraints, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.  Assists the Procurement Manager & department staff with the required reporting, researching and maintaining statistical data as well as implementing the procurement policy and procedures as required. 

 

AREAS OF RESPONIBILITY: 

 

Procurement Department {Daily} 

  • Maintain department calendar with upcoming meetings, prepare meeting agendas, reserve rooms and take notes 

  • Perform administrative duties [mail, calls, letters, emails, notices, record keeping, travel, invoices] 

  • Serve as the external liaison to discuss, resolve and provide information on department processes, and project activities to facilitate department goal attainment. 

  • Create & track comparatives in Insite for approval 

  • Communicate with Diversity Contract Compliance department to obtain DBE firm contacts 

  • Update contract Directory/CO & Comparatives/Procurement Plan 

  • Collect vendor current Certificate of Insurance documents, review, identify deficiencies and work with vendor to obtain compliant status   

  • Collect vendor W9, NTI department contract documents to completed NTP checklist  

  • Prepare department documents for the Board of Manager meetings/reports 

  • Administer annual subcontractor evaluations process with department managers for submittal in insite system 

  • Update and store department documents on department server systems  

  • Obtain CEO signature on all fully executed documents in Adobe Sign system 

Document Management {Monthly} 

  • Ensures maintenance of appropriate documentation and records. 

 

Reports {Monthly} 

  • Create Summary of Comparatives under $50K  

  • Create and develop transaction reports on all contracts on the projects 

  • Track all completed comparatives for reporting  

  • Update Subcontractor Information {contact information, etc.} 

  • Assists in creating & analyzing compliance reporting documents in word, spreadsheets, Microsoft project and presentation software 

  • Create and submit reports to Procurement Manager 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar coordinator positions.  

  • Minimum of three to five years of experience working in a procurement/purchasing department. 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Outlook.  

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in work & complete tasks on-time  

  • Works independently, manage time and workload, which includes planning, prioritizing, organizing, and following-through on a variety of tasks, assignments, projects, and reports.

Su misión será la de liderar la relación con los proveedores clave en la industria de generación de energía renovable, tanto para proyectos nacionales como internacionales.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Negociación y cierre de contratos de suministro de equipos principales (PV Modules, Power Stations, Inverters, Trackers, BESS, etc.) tanto en proyectos nacionales (España) como internacionales (USA, Chile, Australia, etc.)

  • Dar cumplimiento, en coordinación con el Departamento de Compras, a la política y procedimientos de compras correspondientes a la División de Energía, de forma global y a nivel de proyectos.

  • Establecer una estrecha relación comercial con proveedores con objeto de estar actualizados tanto en precios, plazos, tecnología, situación de mercados, etc.

  • Colaborar con el área de Estudios con objetivo de mejorar precios, plazos y condiciones de los suministros principales.

  • Lanzamiento de peticiones de oferta, recepción y análisis de las mismas, negociación y cierres de contratos y pedidos.

  • Gestión de compras de equipos menores, tanto en fase de oferta como durante la ejecución de proyectos.

REQUISITOS

  • Grado o Máster en Ingeniería Industrial, ADE o formación similar

  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en compras de equipos principales de energías renovables.

  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en proyectos internacionales.

  • Inglés nivel negociación, hablado y escrito.

  • Valorable formación en Logística o Comercio Internacional.

JOB DUTIES:

Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, and protocols for projects. Manage the BIM execution plan and ensure compliance with project requirements. Manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) to maintain a smooth workflow, address model-related issues, and ensure access to the most up-to-date information for effective collaboration. Create BIM models for different BIM platforms. Coordinate and collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective BIM integration. Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of BIM models and data. Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and processes. Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and clash detection reviews. Ensure that BIM deliverables meet the required standards and are delivered on time. Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, trends, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative BIM solutions. Manage and resolve BIM-related issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or closely related.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 4 years (48 months) of experience with BIM management within the construction industry; BIM 360, ACC or other Common Data Environment, BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD; Large-scale infrastructure projects; and Integrated project delivery (IPD) and lean construction principles.
