We are looking for a Head of Human Resources who will join Digital Infrastructure, reporting to the CEO of the Business.
The role will be responsible for the development and implementation of all human resources policies, procedures, and practices for Digital Infrastructure. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business, as well as developing and executing human resources strategies that promote a positive work environment, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of human resources strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and the Business’s HR strategy:
- Ensure the Business’s culture and values are present throughout Digital Infrastructure.
- Lead recruitment, selection and onboarding processes, ensuring a diverse and qualified workforce is available at the right time.
- Foster a positive work environment and employee engagement.
- Promote a performance culture facilitating talent and succession planning processes, to ensure performance standards are met and a healthy talent pipeline is in place.
- Manage employee training and development programs to ensure employees within the Business have the right skills to ensure strategy and business plan implementation.
- Manage compensation and benefit programs, that ensure competitiveness in attracting and engaging the right talent.
- Ensure efficient management of HR day-to-day operations (i.e. payroll, taxes, Social Security…).
- Manage employee relations.
- Oversee employee health, safety and wellbeing programs.
- Support the adaptation and implementation of global HR Policies in partially owned assets:
- Support Asset Directors in all HR Matters, contributing to maximizing the value of the assets.
- Lead and support the implementation of the required systems to manage the staff and the people management processes at asset level
- Ensure the optimal reporting of the relevant HR information of the assets.
- Ensure key HR policies are deployed in the assets.
- Manage, along with the Asset Director, the key people within the assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business will be a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in Generalist HR Roles.
- Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies.
- Proven experience defining and implementing HR programs to support end to end people management processes.
- Experience managing shared services environments and associated cost allocation frameworks.
- Knowledge of relevant Spanish labor laws and regulations.
- Additional knowledge of relevant US, and European labor laws and regulations would be valued.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Fluency in English.

Summary
Serve as an inspector or assist in overseeing construction inspection activities for very large and complex projects. Inspects construction methods and workmanship to ensure contractors work is in accordance with plans and specifications. Documents the work; Leads or can lead the work of technical and certified employees. Responsible to the Quality Manager or Project Manager who has full authority for acceptance of all work. Work requires contact with stakeholders, Clients, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors and manufacturers as required to perform the work. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details. May be asked to train others.
Responsibilities

Survey Lead – HS2 Track Systems
About the Role
The Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture has a strong track record of delivering critical UK infrastructure projects on time and within budget. It is now delivering track infrastructure across the entire HS2 route.
We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Survey Manager to lead the surveying strategy and delivery across Lot 2. This key role will oversee technical leadership, assurance, innovation and stakeholder collaboration on one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes.
You will lead survey operations from project initiation to final handover, ensuring technical excellence, compliance and digital innovation throughout. The role offers the opportunity to shape surveying practices, introduce advanced digital construction methods and develop the next generation of survey professionals on a high-profile project.
Location: The successful candidate will initially be based at HS2’s offices in Euston, London, with occasional travel to project offices and sites across Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire as required. In approximately 18 to 24 months, the role is expected to transition to a predominantly site-based position in Buckinghamshire and/or Northamptonshire
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Technical Leadership
- Develop and implement the Survey Management Plan for the HS2 Track Systems contract.
- Lead survey activities across design and construction, including survey control networks, setting out, monitoring, reality capture, GIS, as-built verification and final handover.
- Ensure surveying activities align with engineering, commercial, digital and programme requirements.
Technical Assurance & Delivery
- Lead technical assurance and quality control, ensuring compliance with HS2 requirements, industry standards and client specifications.
- Plan and coordinate survey works across all three Lots and key interfaces, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the lead surveying interface with HS2 Ltd, design teams, JV partners, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical advice, risk insight and reporting to project leadership and external partners.
Digital & Innovation
- Drive improvements in digital construction, automation, survey technologies and integrated data workflows.
- Promote efficient surveying methods and best practice throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, support and mentor surveying and site engineering teams.
- Promote professional development, training and accreditation, including CICES and RICS.
- Support knowledge-sharing and industry best practice.
Experience and Qualifications
- Extensive senior-level engineering surveying experience on major civil infrastructure projects, including developing and managing Survey Control Networks.
- Experience delivering high-speed rail and/or slab track works.
- Leadership experience within a Tier 1 contractor or major JV (desirable)
- Degree, HND or equivalent in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering surveying, digital workflows and technical standards.

Senior Quantity Surveyor
The Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture has a strong track record of delivering critical UK infrastructure projects on time and within budget. It is now delivering track infrastructure across the entire HS2 route.
We are seeking an experienced, strategically minded and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial team for our HS2 Track contract.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proven track record of making informed decisions grounded in both experience and data analysis, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
Location: You will initially be based out of the HS2 project team office near Euston Station (for around 1.5 years), with a requirement to work from other project offices in Hillingdon (Greater London) / Buckinghamshire later on as the project develops.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Experienced in administrating NEC3 & NEC4 forms of contract
- Management of subcontract accounts
- Supporting the Commercial Manager and management of the commercial team
- Maintaining suitable records and supporting audit processes
- Administer risk and opportunity management processes, ensuring commercial entitlement is maximised
- Support contract review and monthly reporting processes
- Work closely with project management and engineering teams and liaise with Employers commercial team and client team.
- Produce documentation / evidence to demonstrate KPI achievement.
- Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget reports.
- Maintain effective, accurate cost control.
- Identify and provide appropriate, timely information to support change control process.
- Support procurement team through tenders including producing subcontract documentation.
- Manage subcontracts from initial placement of order to final account.
- Maintain registers of variations, delay, extension times and claims.

Resumen del Puesto**
Buscamos un/a Capataz en Formación (STEP) para unirse a nuestro equipo. Esta posición ofrece una oportunidad única para desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo y gestión en proyectos de construcción, bajo la supervisión de capataces experimentados.
Responsabilidades del Puesto**
* Asistir al capataz en la planificación, organización y supervisión de las operaciones diarias en el sitio de construcción.
* Colaborar en la coordinación de equipos de trabajo, asegurando el cumplimiento de los plazos y estándares de calidad.
* Participar en la implementación de medidas de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, garantizando un entorno laboral seguro.
* Contribuir al control de materiales, equipos y recursos en el proyecto.
* Aprender y aplicar las políticas y procedimientos de la empresa en todas las fases del proyecto.
* Documentar el progreso de las tareas y reportar cualquier incidencia o desviación al capataz.
* Desarrollar habilidades en la lectura e interpretación de planos y especificaciones técnicas.
Cualificaciones del Puesto**
* Formación técnica o profesional en construcción, ingeniería civil o campo relacionado.
* Experiencia previa (deseable, no excluyente) en entornos de construcción o proyectos de infraestructura.
* Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y bajo presión.
* Habilidades de comunicación efectiva y proactividad.
* Disponibilidad para trabajar en diferentes ubicaciones de proyectos según sea necesario.
* Conocimiento básico de normativas de seguridad en la construcción.
* Dominio del idioma español (oral y escrito).
* Permiso de conducir (deseable).
