Summary 

Responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations to ensure the standards of the contract are met in a cost-effective, safe and efficient manner.  The Project Superintendent holds overall responsibility for operations and maintenance of the project. Verifies work, interprets the contract, and gives direction and advice on schedules and subcontractor work to the Zone Superintendents. The Project Superintendent works in collaboration with the Project Manager to coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of a services plan consistent with the identified needs of the client and the contract. 

Responsibilities 

  •   Manages his or her Zone Superintendents to ensure completion of condition assessment of pavements, signs, guardrails, bridges, vegetation, tunnels, and other contract requirements. 

  •  Directs and advises their Zone Supers. To determine the best approach (self-performance or subcontract) for bringing assets into contract compliance considering cost, timeliness, and efficiency. Sources and qualifies new subcontractors. 

  • Monitors operational and financial performance, conducts operational and financial analysis, and prepares performance information and recommendations for incorporation into the periodic reports to management. 

  • Serves as technical advisor to their Zone Supers and Sub Contractors. 

  • Reviews work schedules received from Zone Supers checking budgets, timelines and safe operations once approved briefs PM. on scheduled work. 

  • Inspects in-process and reviews completed work  with QC. to ensure compliance with contract requirements. 

  • Acts as a communication link between the Project Manager and operations personnel. 

  • Ensures direct reports are actively supervising, scheduling, and evaluating personnel. Coach direct reports on management techniques. 

  • Obtains, inspects, and controls fleet (maintenance, fuel cards, etc.). Manage, monitor, and controls project assets and materials. 

  • Responsible for proper work reporting, timesheets, budgeting, and other systems. Prepares reports and correspondence as necessary.  Ensures data in the MMIS is accurate. 

  • Reviews and works with the Admin. on customer service logs and ensures correct and timely resolutions. 

  • Safety comes first!  Required to complete work in a safe, efficient and accurate manner. 

  • Other duties (not listed) may be assigned to this job at any time. 

 

Qualifications 

  • The Project Superintendent is expected to have 3-5 years of skilled trade/engineering experience including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction methods, materials, standards, and specifications The Project Superintendent should also have at a minimum 1 yr. of successfully leading and managing people. 

  • The Project Superintendent holds overall responsibility for operations and maintenance of the project. Verifies work, interprets the contract, and gives direction on schedules and subcontractor work. The Project Superintendent needs to have complete knowledge of the contract and the programs that drive the project (MRP). 

  • Working knowledge of state and federal safety, environment, and EEO/DBE guidelines and regulations 

  • Working skill in operating computer equipment, software programs, and field inspection equipment 

  • Ability to provide technical supervision and leadership to other staff 

  • Read and interpret roadway, bridge, and structure plans and contract specifications 

  • Maintain detailed records 

  • Communicate effectively with agency and contractor personnel and the general public. 

  • Be an ambassador in implementing policies and procedures. 

  • Ability to obtain Advanced DOT (or MOT if in Canada) Certification 

  • Operation of heavy equipment as needed 

  • Valid Driver’s license with good driving record (Required)

  • Serves as a liaison with the internal staff at all levels

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

Buscamos un/a Jefe/a de Producción de Estructuras para nuestra obra en Lorca. La persona seleccionada será responsable de la planificación, dirección y control de todas las fases de producción de estructuras, asegurando la calidad, el cumplimiento de plazos y la optimización de recursos.

* Planificar y organizar los trabajos de producción de estructuras, incluyendo la asignación de recursos humanos y materiales.

* Controlar el progreso de la obra, identificando posibles desviaciones y proponiendo soluciones.

* Colaborar con otros departamentos de la obra (ingeniería, calidad, etc.) para asegurar la integración de los trabajos.

REQUISITOS:
* Ingeniero/a de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, Ingeniero/a Civil, Arquitecto/a Técnico/a o titulación similar.
* Experiencia mínima de 3 años en un puesto similar, preferiblemente en grandes proyectos de construcción de estructuras.
* Capacidad de liderazgo, organización y gestión de equipos.
* Habilidades para la resolución de problemas y toma de decisiones.
* Manejo avanzado de herramientas informáticas (MS Office, AutoCAD, Presto o similar).

Descripción del rol:

Buscamos un/a Jefe/a de Producción Ferroviario para nuestra obra en Lorca. La persona seleccionada será responsable de la planificación, dirección y control de todas las fases de producción, asegurando la calidad, el cumplimiento de plazos y la optimización de recursos.

FUNCIONES:
* Planificar y organizar los trabajos de producción de estructuras, incluyendo la asignación de recursos humanos y materiales.
* Supervisar y coordinar al personal a su cargo, garantizando la correcta ejecución de las tareas y el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad y calidad.
* Controlar el progreso de la obra, identificando posibles desviaciones y proponiendo soluciones.
* Gestionar el aprovisionamiento de materiales y equipos necesarios para la producción de estructuras.
* Realizar el seguimiento de costes y presupuestos, buscando la eficiencia y el ahorro.
* Colaborar con otros departamentos de la obra (ingeniería, calidad, etc.) para asegurar la integración de los trabajos.
* Elaborar informes de producción y presentar avances a la dirección de obra.
* Asegurar el cumplimiento de la normativa vigente en materia de seguridad y salud laboral.

REQUISITOS:
* Ingeniero/a de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, Ingeniero/a Civil, Arquitecto/a Técnico/a o titulación similar.
* Experiencia mínima de 3 años en un puesto similar, preferiblemente en grandes proyectos de construcción de estructuras.
* Capacidad de liderazgo, organización y gestión de equipos.
* Habilidades para la resolución de problemas y toma de decisiones.
* Manejo avanzado de herramientas informáticas (MS Office, AutoCAD, Presto o similar).
* Se valorará experiencia en gestión de proyectos con metodología BIM.
* Residencia o disponibilidad para residir en Lorca o alrededores.

Desde Ferrovial Construcción, precisamos incorporar un Técnico de Instalaciones Mecánicas con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo en Valladolid. La persona seleccionada será responsable de la ejecución, mantenimiento y supervisión de sistemas mecánicos en diversos proyectos de construcción, asegurando su correcto funcionamiento y la calidad de las instalaciones.

Funciones:

– Realizar la instalación, montaje y puesta en marcha de sistemas mecánicos (HVAC, fontanería, saneamiento, protección contra incendios, etc.) en obras industriales.
– Llevar a cabo el mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de las instalaciones mecánicas, diagnosticando averías y ejecutando las reparaciones necesarias.
– Supervisar y coordinar los trabajos de subcontratistas en lo referente a las instalaciones mecánicas, asegurando el cumplimiento de plazos y estándares de calidad.
– Interpretar planos, esquemas y especificaciones técnicas para la correcta ejecución de los proyectos.
– Colaborar en la elaboración de informes técnicos y documentación de obra relacionada con las instalaciones.
– Asegurar el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad y salud en el trabajo en todas las actividades realizadas.
– Gestionar y controlar el inventario de materiales y herramientas necesarias para las instalaciones mecánicas.
– Identificar oportunidades de mejora en los procesos de instalación y mantenimiento.

Requisitos:

– Estudios de ingeniería Mecánica o similar. Valorable máster en disciplinas industriales.
– Experiencia mínima de 3 años en funciones similares, preferiblemente en el sector de la construcción o mantenimiento de edificios/infraestructuras.
– Experiencia previa en desarrollo de proyectos de instalaciones (HVAC, PCI, BT y MT) y obras industriales
– Conocimientos y manejo de aplicaciones, diseño y gestión BIM (Revit, Navisworks…)
– Conocimientos y manejo aplicaciones de cálculo y simulación
– Capacidad de liderazgo, gestión de equipos y resolución de problemas
– Carnet de conducir y disponibilidad para viajar

– Conocimientos teóricos y normativos para cálculo, optimización y diseño de instalaciones.
– Habilidades de resolución de problemas, proactividad y capacidad para trabajar en equipo.
– Valorable conocimientos de ofimática (Excel, Word).
– Valorable experiencia en el uso de herramientas de como AutoCAD.
