We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage a large utility-scale renewable energy project. What You Will Do: 

  • Project Leadership:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Team Management:

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in utility-scale renewable energy projects. 

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. 

  • Technical Skills: 

  • Deep knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, storage). 

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar). 

  • Familiarity with permitting, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact assessments. 

  • Soft Skills: 

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. 

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency. 

  • Certifications:

  • Este rol es crítico en terreno para asegurar la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SST) y el cumplimiento legal en una obra de alta complejidad. Actúa como contraparte técnica operativa para implementar el marco preventivo y verificar sistemáticamente que la faena cumpla normativa y estándares internos, con impacto directo en:
  • Continuidad de la obra
  • Control de riesgos mayores
  • Resultados HSE/SST frente a fiscalizaciones y auditorías internas/externas
  • Se relaciona transversalmente con obras civiles, instalaciones, montaje, logística, patios y servicios auxiliares, trabajando con jefaturas de Producción, Calidad, Medio Ambiente, Administración de Obra y contratistas, asegurando trazabilidad preventiva exigida por mandante/inspección y organismos fiscalizadores.

2) Objetivo del cargo

  • Planificar, ejecutar y controlar la gestión preventiva del proyecto para que todas las actividades se realicen en condiciones seguras y saludables, aplicando herramientas de identificación, evaluación y control de riesgos y desplegando medidas preventivas según:
  • Ley 16.744
  • DS N°44 (gestión preventiva)
  • DS N°594 (condiciones sanitarias y ambientales)

3) Principales responsabilidades

  • Implementar y controlar el sistema preventivo en terreno
  • Desplegar instrumentos DS N°44 (p. ej., MIPER/IPER, Programa Preventivo, Mapa de Riesgos) con evidencia trazable para auditorías/fiscalización.
  • Gestionar Trabajos de Alto Riesgo (TAR)
  • Verificar condiciones previas, controles de ingeniería/administrativos y competencias; aplicar Jerarquía de Controles, validar PTS y formalizar PTW cuando corresponda.

4) Funciones generales

  • Cumplimiento regulatorio y aseguramiento normativo: operación conforme, auditable y con evidencias.
  • Coordinación interdisciplinaria: integrar controles preventivos a la secuencia constructiva (evitar conflictos entre productividad y seguridad).
  • Inducción, formación y comunicaciones: capacitación y sensibilización de riesgos y controles.
  • Control operacional en terreno: verificación de barreras críticas, EPP, señalización, orden/aseo, segregación, control de energías peligrosas y condiciones ambientales.

  • Administrar/actualizar instrumentos DS N°44 según cambios de frentes, metodologías o contratistas.
  • Estandarizar controles y reglas críticas para actividades de alto impacto.
  • Gestionar desviaciones y condiciones subestándar con enfoque robusto (priorizar ingeniería/administrativos sobre soluciones reactivas).
  • Control de contratistas: ingreso, credenciales, capacitaciones, registros y desempeño (incluye reincidencias).

  • Validar AST/PTS por frente y actividad (que reflejen el método real y controles aplicables).
  • Administrar PTW y liberar frentes de forma segura (aislamientos, señalización, protecciones, ventilación, accesos, autorizaciones y firmas).
  • Aplicar y promover Stop Work ante riesgo inaceptable (detener y corregir antes de reanudar).

Formación

  • Técnico o Ingeniero en Prevención de Riesgos (o afín con especialización formal en SST).

Conocimientos computacionales

  • Excel intermedio-avanzado (tablas dinámicas, reportes, tendencias, dashboards básicos)
  • PowerPoint intermedio (reportes ejecutivos, hallazgos, planes de acción)
  • Word avanzado (procedimientos, instructivos, registros, control de versiones)
  • Gestión documental (SharePoint/OneDrive o similar) con disciplina de registros y trazabilidad
  • Deseable: Power BI, MS Project/Primavera P6, lectura de planos (visor CAD/PDF)

About the role

The Digitalization & Process Analyst / Specialist will support the implementation and adoption of Ferrovial Energy’s digitalization strategy across energy projects.

The role will focus on the effective use of digital tools, process improvement, standardization and reporting, acting as a link between digital solutions and business needs, and supporting project teams in their day-to-day use of these tools.

Key Responsibilities

Provide functional support and user assistance for corporate and technical digital tools used in energy projects.

Support the deployment, testing and continuous improvement of digital solutions, ensuring their effective adoption by project teams.

Collaborate with engineering, project and technical teams to understand business needs and help translate them into practical and usable digital solutions.

Ensure proper data collection, structure, quality and traceability, supporting consistent and efficient ways of working across projects.

Standardize templates, formats and best practices related to reporting, document management and processes.

Prepare basic reports and support project and digitalization follow-up activities.

Document processes, user guides and internal procedures to facilitate understanding, consistency and adoption.

Support senior team members with coordination, follow-up and implementation activities related to digitalization initiatives.

  • Position Summary

    Under the direction of the Regional HSEQ Manager, the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Coordinator will assist in maintaining the company's health and safety systems in order to meet company and legislative compliance. This includes but is not limited to assisting with documenting training and assisiting with WSIB case management.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop, organize, manage, maintain, and administer the Health and Safety Program in collaboration with Health and Safety department
    • Relay required safety information to all staff
    • Identify safety training requirements, make recommendations to Safety Committees, and schedule the training as approved and required
    • Conduct safety training within the scope of his/her experience and certification
    • Complete internal audits as required
    • Assist with hazard assessments
    • Coordinate regarding requirements for achieving COR Certification
    • Maintain the WHMIS program, including current SOS and staff training
    • Contribute positively to creating a safe and secure environment to support student learning
    • Assist in the development, coordination, and maintenance of emergency preparedness plans
    • Provide support with WSIB case management including being familiar with the Board's regulations and policies
    • Work closely with the managers and supervisors ensuring compliance with safety legislation and company programs while at work
    • Coordinate the review of health and safety related policies and procedures
    • Monitor and advise on legislative and technical changes relating to health and safety
    • Provide information to employees on health and safety
    • Maintain and expand upon professional competence
    • Other tasks, as required by the Operation Leadership Team and/or Regional HSEQ.

    Education and Experience

    • Post-Secondary education in a related field of Helath & Safety or Human Resources
    • 1+ years of related work experience or a combination of COOP terms working on a HSEQ team
    • Willing to work towards NCSO certification
    • Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.

    Work Conditions/Physical Demands

    • Have the physical ability to walk at least one mile in rugged, sloped terrain and lift 35 pounds unassisted.
    • Have the physical ability to reach, bend, squat, climb, stand, and sit in both hot and cold environments.
    • Must have the ability to wear the required PPE.
    • Think clearly and make sound decisions in a loud, congested environment, with multiple moving hazards

Objetivo del cargo

  • Asegurar la correcta ejecución de las actividades en obra, coordinando equipos, recursos y subcontratos para cumplir plazos, costos, calidad y estándares de seguridad.

  • Planificar el trabajo diario y semanal por frentes de obra.
  • Supervisar la ejecución en terreno, asegurando calidad y seguridad.
  • Coordinar cuadrillas, materiales, equipos y subcontratos.
  • Controlar avances, rendimientos y productividad.
  • Gestionar desviaciones y proponer mejoras.
  • Coordinar con el Mandante (Metro) y áreas internas.
  • Elaborar reportes claros de avance, calidad, seguridad y costos.

Responsabilidades clave

  • Cumplir el programa de obra y apoyar la Ruta Crítica.
  • Asegurar estándares de calidad en hormigón, acero y moldajes.
  • Aplicar normas de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SST).

  • Al menos 3 años en proyectos complejos (metro, túneles o similares).

Conocimientos:

  • Planificación (MS Project o Primavera P6).
  • Lectura de planos y control técnico.
  • Excel y sistemas de control de obra (ERP).
  • Normativa de seguridad (DS 40, DS 594).

Deseable:
