Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Planner to join our team, based in Birmingham for the HS2 Track project. The Senior Planner role is office-based and will be focused on managing the contract programme, including dealing with client and supporting the commercial team. The role demands leadership skills and initiative to proactively produce and maintain a realistic programme coordinating with our construction and design teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project contractual programme, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and overall project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, commercial leads, project controls, filed engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project data, assess progress, and identify potential risks or delays.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, providing accurate progress reporting and highlighting critical path activities.
- Prepare and submit contract program deliverable, including its narrative and other back-up documents.
- Coordinate with project controls to track and report on project performance using earned value management and other relevant metrics.
- Support the change management process, including the assessment of schedule impacts from changes and variations.
- Mentor and support junior planning staff within the project team in future expansion of the project.
- Generate, update and maintain time-chainages
- Coordinate and lead QSRA analysis
Key Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in planning and scheduling within construction sector (rail systems experience desirable but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Desirable experience in earned value management.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and public sector procurement processes is advantageous.

We are seeking an experienced Substation Lead Construction professional to oversee the delivery of high-voltage substation projects across Australia. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality construction execution in compliance with Australian standards and project specifications. KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Job Description:
The Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) Manager will oversee the advancement of the I-77 Mobility Partners safety program and lead efforts to enhance the safety culture.
The HSE Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The HSE Manager will verify program effectiveness and compliance by performing regular work site visits (including subcontracted work) and safety observations. The HSE Manager will guide employees on hazard identification and use of critical checks and life-saving controls to eliminate or mitigate hazards.
This position is obligated to stop the job when there is an imminent hazard to the health and well-being of employees, and to protect company property and the environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports implementation of effective policies, procedures and initiatives.

Works with executive management to define goals to reduce accidents and incidents at the workplace

Development and implementation of Life Saving Controls Program

Report on KPI results for monthly, quarterly and annual results to satisfy local and corporate requirements

Work with operations personnel on expectations and management of subcontractor safety (safety plans, training, etc.)

Understand contractual Environmental requirements and environmental regulations to ensure environmental compliance is maintained

Identifies and coordinates health and safety training for all employees via Learning Management System (KPA)

Conducts safety meetings/trainings with employees to discuss safety and health matters, specific workplace hazards/mitigations, and employee concerns.

Supervises night shift Safety Specialist and determine work needed and set expectations.

Provides coaching and feedback to Safety Specialist as needed.

Ensures that safety and health issues are routinely discussed by all levels of management.

Investigates and documents all occupational injuries and illnesses. Work with relevant stakeholders to identify corrective actions(s) that will prevent further occurrences

Support case management of all occupational injuries/illness to include provision of care/treatment, arranging for and monitoring light-duty programs, managing an injured worker’s return to work and supporting HR requests for Worker’s Compensation information

Monitor Consortium to Track DOT drug & alcohol testing, to ensure accurate reporting, random testing

Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations

Collaborates with Operations personnel to support needs related to the Safety Program

Maintains PPE inventory and issuance to new employees

Coordinates Safety Committee meetings and topics for discussion

About the role:
We are looking for an IT applications specialist preferably with experience in implementations of Workiva ESG or Archer GRC to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation, maintenance, and evolution of applications for various corporate areas, such as the Legal Departments of different business units and the General Secretariat, Quality and Environmental Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Digital Area, and Internal Communication, as well as other areas of the organization. - Lead, plan, and manage end-to-end IT application implementation projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Act as the main point of contact for the functional areas related to the applications under their responsibility.

FERROVIAL CONSTRUCTION (UK) LIMITED is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Bid Writer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in crafting compelling and winning proposals for complex infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Lead Author/Bid Writing services on forthcoming PQQs and Tenders (subject to timely client release of documents).
- Ensure responses are produced to a high standard and quality, taking into account the full question is being answered and the scoring criteria followed and applied.
- Ensure effective engagement with subject matter experts (SME) in relation to gathering response information/evidence and ensuring adherence to deadlines (internal and client).
- Ensure the full suite of client documents associated with the PQQ/Tender have been read and understood.
- Ensure content provided by SMEs is appropriately challenged and escalated to the appropriate person within the bid team if the SME is under delivering.
- Ensure the responses produced are optimised to score the highest marks possible.
- Working closely with bid directors, BD directors, bid managers, technical leads and field specialists to develop key messages, themes, approaches and innovative / value-added concepts
- Working with external specialists/writers and working directly with clients, if required
- Support other Business Development related tasks such as BD related marketing collateral and/or master case study/evidence gathering activity
- Analyze requirements and ensure that all proposals meet requirements
- Coordinate and lead all technical aspects of the bid process including development, outlines, preparing drafts, scheduling reviews, and tracking completion of team assignments
- Assist with maintaining a database with standard proposal responses
- Contribute intelligence related to clients and competitors to support project pursuits
- Assist in ensuring all bidding qualifications are in place and maintained
Effectively catalog department information, templates, databases, generic information, etc.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Bid Writer, Senior Bid Writer,
* Demonstrable track record of successfully securing major contracts through high-quality bid submissions.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
* Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* A strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
* Understanding of public procurement processes and frameworks (e.g., PQQ, ITT, RFQ) within the UK construction market.

About the role:
A network Technical Project Manager is a holistic thinker who drives and evolves a complex technical vision with their deep knowledge of communications and infrastructures. Able to straddle business and technical concerns creates options and solutions that address business needs and longer-term strategic concerns.
We are looking for an experienced professional with strong technical knowledge in the network and infrastructure domains that can establish technical evolution and operating models that will support business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Define network technical evolution in coordination with Cloud, Security and Architecture and Data.
- Define and validate the evolution of Ferrovial secure communications services integrating cutting-edge technologies (SD-WAN, SD-Branch, NAC, Security, SASE, 5G, satellite …) and business needs (IoT, unified comms…)
- Manage service providers to ensure high-quality standards.
- Establish world-class standards to deliver consistent, high-quality global network services and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity area ensuring compliance with Security policies and standards.
- Ensure optimal performance and security of global communications through advanced monitoring.

Job Description:
- Policies, Guidelines and Protocols: Contribute to the development and delivery of policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure Ferrovial complies with regulations and best practices.
- Contract Management: Be involved in negotiating the terms and conditions of the contract with the client once the bid proposal is accepted. Discuss and agree on aspects such as delivery schedules, payments and contractual clauses.
- Bid Solicitation, Request for Proposal & Tender Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies from technological, financial, and organizational perspectives on aspects of bid request for proposal or tender project requirements and write specifications for tenders. Perform opportunity analysis with the objective of understanding the offer and being able to present the correct documentation. Ensure that bids are submitted in a timely manner, meeting all required specifications and deadlines.
- Insights and Reporting: Gather and analyze data for insights and reporting. Prepare reports on specific aspects of bidding activities and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights
- Budgeting: Assist in creating and managing budgets for bidding projects, tracking costs, and identifying potential budgetary issues. Provide input on budget adjustments and resource requirements.
- Operational Compliance: Identify, within the team, instances of non-compliance with Ferrovial’s policies and procedures or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these and escalating issues as appropriate.
