About us:

North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC is one of the subsidiaries of the Ferrovial Group in the U.S. It is currently working on several projects in the U.S., including the North Tarrant Express (NTE) Projects (“NTE Projects”). The NTE Extension Project is a part of the NTE Projects, which consist of a series of major highway improvements to the critical I-820 and SH-121/183 corridor in North Tarrant County, Texas. The NTE Projects will relieve congestion, improve safety, and provide for anticipated traffic growth in one of the country’s fastest developing regions. The NTE First Project was a $1.451 billion design-build project consisting of rebuilding the existing main lanes as well as adding four toll-managed lanes, frontage roads and auxiliary lanes in the corridor between I-35 West and Industrial Boulevard. The NTE Extension Project is the next part of the NTE Projects. The construction of the original $984 million part of the project (Segment 3A) was completed by North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC, and the current $580.5 million part (Segment 3C) of the NTE Extension Project is presently being carried out by North Tarrant Infrastructure, LLC.

POSITION:                           Senior Project Manager (multiple positions available)

JOB DUTIES:                      

Reporting to the Construction Manager, developing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and administering all processes related to construction of their Sub-segment. Controlling all construction activities for their Sub-segment. Coordinate supplies, subcontractors, Superintendents, and Project Managers that may report to this position. Represent the Company and Project in front of the Client, Owner, and other entities. Partner with Human Resources and other departments to manage staff through the employment life cycle. Engage in subordinate training and development. Participate in budget forecasts and ensure compliance with such. Review and approve pay applications, analyze construction costs, and assess potential improvements in schedule and activity costs. Provide ideas and innovation for the Project. Ensure safety is carried out throughout the whole construction process. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and industry/company standards. Ensure construction schedule is met. Define the scope of work for subcontracts to be awarded. Review bids and recommend subcontractors and suppliers for awards of work. Interact with different departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related and 4 years’ experience in Construction, design, and project control experience on heavy civil, urban, design/build, and P3 construction projects in excess of $250 million USD; + 3 years’ experience with the following: Managing engineering activities related to a highway, bridge, road or runway construction project valued at $250 million USD; Administering and managing the budget, cost control, and scheduling activities for construction projects; Negotiating with suppliers; Using at least two (2) of the following tools: AutoCAD/3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam Revit, or Sketch Up, or Microsoft Project to perform 2D and 3D design and drafting on a large infrastructure project; Scheduling software such as P3, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project on a large highway, bridge, road or runway construction project; Conducting daily field inspections to monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed; and Coordinating multidisciplinary construction teams which include design and construction engineers, superintendents, and inspectors.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

5% domestic travel in Texas/Central Regions for business meetings, trainings and client engagement.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage a large utility-scale renewable energy project. The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from engineering through procurement, construction and commissioning, ensuring the successful delivery of the project on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. What You Will Do: 

  • Project Leadership: 

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects (100 MW+). 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. 

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: 

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets. 

  • Ensure alignment with corporate goals, regulatory requirements, and sustainability objectives. 

  • Team Management:

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in utility-scale renewable energy projects. 

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. 

  • Technical Skills: 

  • Deep knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, storage). 

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar). 

  • Familiarity with permitting, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact assessments. 

  • Soft Skills: 

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. 

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency. 

  • Certifications: 

  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
