Arquitecto/a

  Desde Ferrovial Construcción precisamos incorporar a un Arquitecto/a, preferiblemente con 1 o 2 años de experiencia en desarrollo de proyectos industriales para zona Noroeste de España.

FUNCIONES

– Apoyar en el Diseño de la disciplina arquitectura y validación de documentos de acuerdo a los requerimientos y especificaciones del cliente.
– Apoyar en la coordinación junto con el resto de disciplinas involucradas (estructura e instalaciones); además de la integración con todas las especialidades.

REQUISITOS:

Night Shift Traffic Safety Officer

Summary

The position of Traffic Safety Officer will perform all traffic control activities for the project under the direction of the Segment Traffic Control Coordinator.

Responsibilities

· Perform all Traffic Control operations and personnel.

· Ensure safety and compliance with the Traffic Management plan in all Traffic Control operations.

· Administer Traffic Management Plan developed in conjunction with project Construction Managers.

· Maintain Traffic Control Field operations compliant with the Traffic Management Plan.

· Ensure timely traffic control operations in support of construction activities.

· Provide limited supervision to others through motivation, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasks.

· Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

· Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

Minimum Requirements

· Certified by Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in “Work Zone traffic Control”.

· Minimum of ten (10) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions.

Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Ferrovial Construction projects at Heathrow Airport meet client requirements, company procedures, and industry standards. The role promotes a Right First-Time culture and oversees quality assurance and control for site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Location: Heathrow Airport

Reporting Line: Quality Manager, Ferrovial Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Primary on‑site point of contact for project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for all quality control and quality assurance matters.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and Ferrovial quality processes through regular site visits and factory acceptance testing (FAT) of off-site manufactured products.
• Plan and lead quality audits and inspections (on-site and at supplier facilities), coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and issuing findings and corrective actions promptly.
• Carry out routine construction quality inspections to confirm they meet requirements, including verifying test results, tolerances, materials, execution, and visual aspects.
• Assist the Quality Manager in establishing the Quality Verification Plan (QVP) with the client and identify which aspects of the design require verification during construction.
• Raise a non-conformance if issues arise, follow resolution steps, and record progress. Analyse trend data and report as needed.
• Review, verify and sign control records and inspections, such as site records and related documents, and ensure they are prepared, assembled, and communicated promptly.
• Support the construction team in developing the relevant quality controls, such as Inspection & Test plan (ITP) and ensure that the controls are accepted before work starts.
• Verify that all materials utilised and installed conform to the required specifications and approved before use.
• Assist with digitalising and implementing quality processes, including inspection sheets.
• Work with construction, departmental managers and document controllers to ensure quality standards are documented and properly implemented.
• Submit Health & Safety Files, Site Records, Production Certification documents and update and distribute Works Package Quality documents, including site records and testing.
• Coordinate with the client to confirm benchmarking and sampling events, and ensure their timely completion.
• Engage with the project teams and suppliers to reinforce the Quality Culture by supporting Toolbox Talks and weekly quality sessions.

Key Skills & Experience

• Background in construction Quality Control and Assurance (QC/QA).
• Knowledge of inspections, ITPs, SATs, FATs and documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in regulated environments (desirable).
• Quality management plan experience

The ideal candidate should have strong technical capability, hands‑on field experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced project environment.

This role requires a multi‑disciplinary technician with expertise across automation, communications, IT configuration and electrical panel construction—capable of supporting end‑to‑end system deployment in the field.

Key Technical Requirements

PLC and SCADA Programming

• Proven experience in PLC programming, configuration, and diagnostics.
• Ability to perform on‑site troubleshooting, logic adjustments, and commissioning activities.

Communications Systems

The role

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a Project Controls Engineer to support on infrastructure projects in the Heathrow airport.

Heathrow Airport

Ferrovial Construction has been working at Heathrow Airport for over 12 years delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects to high quality, safety and environmental standards. We have focused on design and build projects with a mix of contractual arrangements. This has enabled us to refine our management procedures in response to Heathrow’s Employers Requirements and Ferrovial Construction own internal management systems.

Since joining Heathrow’s framework in 2008, Ferrovial Construction has delivered a variety of airside and landside projects across the whole airport. For example, we have delivered new taxiways and rehabilitated existing taxiways and the southern runway. We have also redeveloped sterile and grass areas and replaced critical assets, such as fire main, fuel main and HV ducts. We are currently working alongside Heathrow to rehabilitate assets with expired design life’s and plan for a future runway resurfacing project. We are constantly designing and planning our works around critical assets and engaging with different key stakeholders in order to deliver Heathrow value for money.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support on a portfolio of projects for the purpose to obtain and report the performance, cost and risks associated according to the Contract requirements and works information
• Provide support on the development of the project’s baselines across the scope, time, cost, risk schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and explanation, opportunities for improvement and earned value management of the Programme.
• Provide support elaborating and reporting dashboards and forecasts.
• Work in coordination of different departments to verify and assure the quality of the information.

• Skills and Competence:

  We are looking for candidates with:

• Excellent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
• Ability to perform assignments independently with supervision and guidance as required
• Ability to deliver timely high-quality reports
• Good level of proactivity and a problem-solving attitude

Job Description:

• Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation, produced by technical teams in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• Responsible for the submission of documentation into the client EDMS in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• Responsible for keeping Document Control trackers and MIDPs up to date. (Master Information Delivery Plans)
• Provide EDMS support for projects and departments. (Electronic Document Management System)
• Provide QA (Quality Assurance) document checking.
• Manage the different EDMS (Workflows, access rights, distributions, etc.)
• Assist in preparing and managing documentation internally or by subcontractors.
• Train project personnel in using the system and document control procedures.

Key Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels across Ferrovial and with the Client.
• Highly organised with an attention to detail, able to plan and prioritise own workload, able to work effectively to deadlines
• Experience of working in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders, preferably in a construction or similar regulated environment

The role

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a Finance Graduate to provide support to the team. Ferrovial offers an extraordinary start to a career within Finance, this role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to gain a general overview of financial management. The 3-year graduate development programme is designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach. Upon completion of the scheme there are significant opportunities within the Finance team to involve more ambitious and leadership roles.

• Processing and accounting of supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Raise invoice queries in a timely manner with suppliers and/or site management teams
• Ensuring that all accounting transactions are recorded timely, accurately and with compliance to relevant standards and principles.

Objective

Oversee duties involving heavy highway construction activities including structures, earthwork/dirt, concrete and utilities. Manage skilled craftsmen on exciting and challenging construction projects. Work closely with project management while championing safety, fiscal responsibility, productivity, and quality.

Deliverables

Ensure a safe working environment and uphold a rich safety culture by implementing Webber's high safety standards. Support Webber's goal of having Zero Recordable Safety incidents. Manage and execute winning projects. Successfully manage new construction, maintenance, and repair of structures by completing projects on time and under budget. Structures include bridges, retaining walls, overhangs, columns, and other heavy highway and infrastructure projects. Provide expert insight and solutions to unique problems and challenges related to construction activities and cost control.

Regular Job Duties

Monitor the schedule by regularly reviewing milestones and providing consistent solutions to a wide variety of challenges and multiple, simultaneous projects. Communicate and collaborate with management for schedule changes. Provide oversight to the work planning process including upcoming machinery needs, personnel requirements, road closures, and work in progress updates. Review work schedules, provide solutions for potential time delays, and implement strategies to meet milestones on time. Monitor work production and budget continuously while providing solutions to keep costs down and construction activities moving in the right direction. Work with an experienced team to share solutions, express concerns, monitor resources, and achieve goals. Interact with outside consultants, customers, and subcontractors by sharing new and relevant information in an effective, professional manner. Enforce company standards related to work ethics, safety, quality, and other company policies within the work group. Qualifications

Ten (10) or more years of heavy highway and civil construction as a superintendent. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications using proper grammar and spelling. Preference will be given to those who are bilingual in English and Spanish. This position requires the ability to clearly and effectively communicate via E-mail, presentations, and reports. Moderate level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and internet search engines. Mathematical proficiency as it relates to basic accounting, geometry, algebra, and mathematics.
