  • Assist the leadership team with project-level monitoring, reporting, and compliance related to the Maintenance Rating Program (MRP) and the Safety Plan. Will also provide leadership on health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSE) requirements for the Project.

  • Set the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standard and lead by example, with the mindset of being a trusted partner – a collaborative mindset versus an enforcement mindset.
  • Serve as an HSE subject matter expert for the project/site operational leadership.
  • Lead, model, and coach proper techniques for conducting Job Safety Analysis USA) Crew Meetings, weekly safety meetings/toolbox talks, and safety stand-down lessons learned reviews.
  • Conduct worksite HSE jobsite observations to ensure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local regulations and company, project, and site requirements.
  • Use mentoring and coaching techniques to correct HSEissues and hold crucial conversations with operations and HSE leaders when deficiencies aren't appropriately corrected. Ensure jobsite observations are documented in the company-specified safety management system.
  • Assist in developing and update the Project or Site-Specific HSE Plan, ensuring applicable corporate HSE policy and procedural changes and appropriate lessons learned and corrective actions are incorporated.
  • Assist in developing task/situation-specific Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and JSA documents.
  • Assist in developing and conduct HSE training and meetings, ensuring the required information is entered into the learning management system.
  • Assist in investigating and analyze good catches, close calls, and incidents, determining root causes, contributing factors, and developing and communicating lessons learned through incident reports and weekly safety meetings. These must be documented in the company-specified safety management system.
  • Assist in tracking required HSEstatistical data, using it to plan improvement initiatives and provide relevant and actionable information to operational and HSE leaders.
  • Provide emergency care evaluation and first aid, when required, ensure injured worker is medically evaluated and treated, if needed, and oversee case management follow-up as it relates to the return to work and restricted duty programs.

  • Associate degree/college diploma or working towards a Bachelor's degree in a safety-related area of study (can be substituted for equivalent additional experience).
  • Possess or be working toward a professional HSE credential, such as ASP, CSP, CRSP, or OHST.
  • Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.

  • Have the physical ability walk at least one mile in rugged, sloped terrain and lift 35 pounds unassisted.

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

The Mechanical Supervisor oversees daily mechanical field activities for renewable energy construction projects, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and applicable laws. This role bridges engineering design and field execution, providing technical guidance to field engineers and mechanical crews, and reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent or Project Manager. The Mechanical Supervisor coordinates with project management, subcontractors, and the engineering team to deliver high-quality mechanical installations on schedule and within budget. 

 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of field mechanical personnel and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.  

  • Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and mechanical crews, interpreting drawings, and resolving field issues.  

  • Monitor daily progress, maintain accurate records, and report work status to the Mechanical Superintendent or Project Manager.  

  • Assist in planning and scheduling mechanical work, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.  

  • Conduct field inspections to verify quality of work and adherence to mechanical codes and standards (e.g., OSHA).  

  • Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures, partnering with the Safety department to maintain a safe work environment.  

  • Review and approve mechanical work performed by subcontractors and self-perform crews.  

  • Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design discrepancies and optimize installation methods.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • 3+ years of relevant mechanical experience in the energy sector (solar/renewables preferred), including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. 

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation practices, and utility-scale renewable energy requirements. 

  • Experience interpreting and applying mechanical codes and standards (e.g., OSHA). 

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications. 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

– Experiencia previa en Obra o proyectos de Ingeniería.

– Conocimientos cálculo de Instalaciones.

Precisamos incorporar titulados/as en Ingeniería de Caminos Canales y Puertos e Ingeniería Industrial en nuestros proyectos de Edificación, Obra Civil y Ferrocarriles distribuidos por el país.

FUNCIONES

Si eres Ingeniero/a de Caminos, Canales y Puertos:

  • Control de la planificación de obra de los tajos asignados, establecidos juntos con el Jefe/a de Obra a nivel técnico y económico.
  • Especificación de objetivos mensuales de producción y seguimiento del avance.
  • Control y previsión de costes, así como colaboración con el Jefe/a de Obra en la realización de los cierres mensuales.
  • Realización de las mediciones reales y su comparación respecto a planos.
  • Definición y apoyo al Encargado/a a pie de obra para el cumplimiento de los trabajos asignados.
  • Supervisión técnica de la ejecución de los trabajos de acuerdo al proyecto y a la normativa existente.
  • Control de la calidad técnica de la Obra. Supervisión del cumplimiento de la norma de Seguridad y Salud en Obra.

REQUISITOS

  • Título en Máster de Ingeniería Caminos, Canales y Puertos o Ingeniería Industrial ( o a falta de TFM).
  • Experiencia: no requerida.
  • Movilidad geográfica.
  • Inglés B2-C1.
  • Carnet de conducir B.

Job Description:

Ferrovial’s Iter Team is looking for a Site Quality Engineer to assist the Quality Manager and Project Team in fulfilling client requirements and following established quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Primary on-site point of contact for all quality control/assurance aspects.
  • Assure the conformity of the activities with the applicable requirements
  • Assist Ferrovial Teams and in particular the Construction Team with the implementation of the procedures and quality plans
  • Manage and follow up the Non conformities, remedial actions and associated corrective/preventive actions
  • Ensure closure of Non-conformities on time
  • Assure the compliance of the Quality Procedures by the Subcontractors
  • Keep the Quality documents organized and up to date
  • Conduct on-site Quality Inspections
  • Conduct required visits to factories to check compliance of product manufactured Off-Site and complete the relevant reporting on timely manner.
  • Review the Inspection Reports for Manufacturing/installation and support the subcontractors during the issuing process with the Quality Manager
  • Review and update quality documents according to Project needs.
  • Manage the measuring and tests equipment used on site: calibration/verification, cerificates and status
  • Support the management of Nuclear Safety Requirements
  • Monitor the progress of corrective actions (NCRs). Ensure they are closed promptly and correctly
  • Perform the Defect List management: snags identification and follow-up
  • Participate in internal/external audits
  • Participate in tender offers

Qualifications and Experience

  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Site quality inspection experience.
