Workday Solutions Analyst
Job Description Summary
Ferrovial is hiring a proactive, solutions‑driven professional to support the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of its HR technology ecosystem. Our company uses Workday as the core platform for all HR processes, including Payroll, which we have recently deployed for the USA and Canada. This role will play a key part in developing solutions for more than 5,000 employees across 26 companies.
This is a dynamic and high‑impact position. It requires strong judgment, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a passion for problem‑solving. Rather than executing a routine set of tasks, this position will work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to analyze challenges, design solutions, and contribute to the ongoing optimization of our Workday landscape.
This is an on-site position which is based in Texas with an office in either The Woodlands or Austin. The hiring preference is for applicants who can work onsite in The Woodlands, TX.
Job Description
- Develop, modify, and schedule Workday Reports related to HCM, Payroll, Time, Compensation, and similar areas. Create and maintain Calculated Fields of all types. Review Primary Business Objects and Related Business Objects in order to return key fields which are not included within PBOs. Develop fields and reports which include International Assignees.
- Review Security permissions for Data Items and ensure that report consumers are able to access report fields.
- Develop, troubleshoot, schedule, and monitor integrations between Workday and other systems including SharePoint, SFTP, and Benefits Carriers.
- Use Copilot or Claude to facilitate rapid improvements to common business problems and enhance the Workday solution.
- Follow internal controls for Change Management which starts with gathering requirements, getting approval, developing in non-Production Tenant, testing & obtaining evidences, receiving final approval, then deploying into Production.
- Support end-users with HCM troubleshooting with Business Processes, developing reports, testing integrations, and responding to general inquiries related to Workday.
- Maintain a organized notes, track progress, retain and update reference documentation, and manage priorities. Tasks must be prioritized and solved by the deadline, and ongoing progress must be communicated with stakeholders.
- Review semi-annual Workday Release notes and suggest actions to ensure parity with current processes. If any release updates cause issues, these must be communicated and collaboratively evaluated for risk mitigation.
- Collaborate proactively with end-users, managers, and cross‑functional teams, delivering accurate solutions within agreed timelines and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Application Management Service providers.
- Maintain trust with coworkers, managers, and consultants. This position must protect sensitive and confidential data, applying strong security and data‑management practices.
- Adapt to a variety of business needs across organizations, countries, cultures, and languages. The team prides itself on being helpful, respectful, honest, and solution-driven.
- Use Jira to document change management and follow strict guidelines regarding changes.
- Support the execution of projects through active listening and questioning, maintaining organized notes and action lists, and maintaining an optimistic attitude through the toughest challenges.
- Assist with maintaining invoices and budgets related to technology improvement programs.
- Create technical documentation and work to develop a knowledgebase for use by the HRIS Team and its internal customers.

- Proficient knowledge of operating Microsoft Office products including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Work with integrity and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferred majors are Engineering, Computer Programming, Information Systems, and similar.

- Experience in a multinational company or shared services environment.

Objetivo del Puesto
Realizar controles tanto de personal propio y contratistas detectando en terreno actos y condiciones subestándar de instalaciones, equipos, maquinarias y herramientas, gestionando el cierre de estos oportunamente. Verificar en terreno la ejecución segura de los procedimientos de trabajo, aplicando los estándares de seguridad de la empresa, aplicando la política Stop work en caso de que sea necesario.
Principales Funciones y Responsabilidades
- Participar en las actividades de capacitación en el proyecto, como formador (ODI personal nuevo, charlas de seguridad y cursos o entrenamientos especificos) y como capacitado (cursos que la empresa indique).
- Colabora en el Plan anual de capacitación a partir de la detección de necesidades en el proyecto.
- Realizar los informes preliminares, las investigaciones de incidentes y lecciones aprendidas para revisión de su jefatura directa, mas la recopilación de la toda la documentación relacionada con el incidente.
- Realiza difusiones y sensibilizaciones del SGSSO, comunicando la política, objetivos y metas, resultados de auditorias, los estándares mínimos de seguridad y salud de la empresa, programa Safe, aplicación Miractua, Tarjeta Safe, etc.
- Capacitar al personal respecto a los procedimientos de trabajo, matrices de riesgos y medidas preventivas y verificar en terreno el cumplimiento de los procedimientos y matrices de riesgos.
- Comunicar oportunidades de mejora del sistema y darlas a conocer al Jefe directo cuando corresponda.
- Recomendar o sugerir mejoras en los documentos, actividades, condiciones de trabajo, relativos a la SSO.
- Participar en la implantación del procedimiento de control operacional en el proyecto y reportar cualquier deficiencia al jefe directo mediante informes de inspecciones y observaciones preventivas de seguridad (OPS) diarias, las cuales se deben subir a la plataforma Cority con sus respectivos cierres.
Requisitos para el puesto:
- Profesional Titulado de técnico o ingeniero en prevención de riesgos.
- Experiencia mínima 3 años en Subestaciones eléctricas y LAT.
- Contar con licencia de conducir.

Assist the leadership team with project-level monitoring, reporting, and compliance related to the Maintenance Rating Program (MRP) and the Safety Plan. Will also provide leadership on health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSE) requirements for the Project.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Set the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standard and lead by example, with the mindset of being a trusted partner – a collaborative mindset versus an enforcement mindset.
- Serve as an HSE subject matter expert for the project/site operational leadership.
- Lead, model, and coach proper techniques for conducting Job Safety Analysis USA) Crew Meetings, weekly safety meetings/toolbox talks, and safety stand-down lessons learned reviews.
- Conduct worksite HSE jobsite observations to ensure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local regulations and company, project, and site requirements.
- Use mentoring and coaching techniques to correct HSEissues and hold crucial conversations with operations and HSE leaders when deficiencies aren't appropriately corrected. Ensure jobsite observations are documented in the company-specified safety management system.
- Assist in developing and update the Project or Site-Specific HSE Plan, ensuring applicable corporate HSE policy and procedural changes and appropriate lessons learned and corrective actions are incorporated.
- Assist in developing task/situation-specific Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and JSA documents.
- Assist in developing and conduct HSE training and meetings, ensuring the required information is entered into the learning management system.
- Assist in investigating and analyze good catches, close calls, and incidents, determining root causes, contributing factors, and developing and communicating lessons learned through incident reports and weekly safety meetings. These must be documented in the company-specified safety management system.
- Assist in tracking required HSEstatistical data, using it to plan improvement initiatives and provide relevant and actionable information to operational and HSE leaders.
- Provide emergency care evaluation and first aid, when required, ensure injured worker is medically evaluated and treated, if needed, and oversee case management follow-up as it relates to the return to work and restricted duty programs.

- 2+ years of infrastructure or maintenance industry experience.
- 1+ years of experience in construction or general industry HSE leadership.
- Associate degree/college diploma or working towards a Bachelor's degree in a safety-related area of study (can be substituted for equivalent additional experience).
- Possess or be working toward a professional HSE credential, such as ASP, CSP, CRSP, or OHST.
- Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands
- Have the physical ability walk at least one mile in rugged, sloped terrain and lift 35 pounds unassisted.
- Have the physical ability to reach, bend, squat, climb, stand, and sit in both hot and cold environments.

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation
The Mechanical Supervisor oversees daily mechanical field activities for renewable energy construction projects, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and applicable laws. This role bridges engineering design and field execution, providing technical guidance to field engineers and mechanical crews, and reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent or Project Manager. The Mechanical Supervisor coordinates with project management, subcontractors, and the engineering team to deliver high-quality mechanical installations on schedule and within budget.
What You Will Do:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of field mechanical personnel and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and mechanical crews, interpreting drawings, and resolving field issues.

Monitor daily progress, maintain accurate records, and report work status to the Mechanical Superintendent or Project Manager.

Assist in planning and scheduling mechanical work, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.

Conduct field inspections to verify quality of work and adherence to mechanical codes and standards (e.g., OSHA).

Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures, partnering with the Safety department to maintain a safe work environment.

Review and approve mechanical work performed by subcontractors and self-perform crews.

Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design discrepancies and optimize installation methods.

Participate in job start and close meetings, contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement.

Assist in managing material and equipment needs, tracking usage and minimizing waste.

Provide coaching, feedback, and training to field staff to promote professional development and high performance.

Communicate effectively with project management, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address challenges and update on progress.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

3+ years of relevant mechanical experience in the energy sector (solar/renewables preferred), including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation practices, and utility-scale renewable energy requirements.

Experience interpreting and applying mechanical codes and standards (e.g., OSHA).

Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

The role
Ferrovial Construction is looking for Graduate Quality Engineers to assist with, and in some cases be responsible for, day to day activities on a variety of major UK infrastructure projects. The Ferrovial 2-year graduate development programme is designed to develop personal, professional and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Quality Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy and ensure Quality standards on our projects are upheld.
Key Accountabilities
- To assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation including Quality Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
- To support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure quality plans and important information is understood and operated by all employees and subcontractors.
- To assist in monitoring compliance of construction works on site and relevant documentation in accordance with Works Information (including design drawings), Ferrovial standards and relevant Technical Standards.
- To assist in carrying out reports for the senior Quality team. To support the Project Quality Manager with investigations and audits.
- Provide guidance on quality requirements and best practice, promoting continuous improvement and innovation across the site team and the business.
- Promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s vision and values, while taking ownership of your assigned work.
- Adhering to safe working practice regulations on-site and ensuring that all staff comply with the same. Support Ferrovial Construction Environmental and Sustainability policies and procedures.

Job Description:
Ferrovial’s Iter Team is looking for a Site Quality Engineer to assist the Quality Manager and Project Team in fulfilling client requirements and following established quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Primary on-site point of contact for all quality control/assurance aspects.
- Assure the conformity of the activities with the applicable requirements
- Assist Ferrovial Teams and in particular the Construction Team with the implementation of the procedures and quality plans
- Manage and follow up the Non conformities, remedial actions and associated corrective/preventive actions
- Ensure closure of Non-conformities on time
- Assure the compliance of the Quality Procedures by the Subcontractors
- Keep the Quality documents organized and up to date
- Conduct on-site Quality Inspections
- Conduct required visits to factories to check compliance of product manufactured Off-Site and complete the relevant reporting on timely manner.
- Review the Inspection Reports for Manufacturing/installation and support the subcontractors during the issuing process with the Quality Manager
- Review and update quality documents according to Project needs.
- Manage the measuring and tests equipment used on site: calibration/verification, cerificates and status
- Support the management of Nuclear Safety Requirements
- Monitor the progress of corrective actions (NCRs). Ensure they are closed promptly and correctly
- Perform the Defect List management: snags identification and follow-up
- Participate in internal/external audits
- Participate in tender offers

Qualifications and Experience
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background.
- Site quality inspection experience.
- Knowledge of ISO14001 / ISO9001 management systems and their implementation.
