A Traffic & Revenue Engineer is responsible for analyzing traffic and socioeconomic data to develop accurate and reliable traffic and revenue forecasts. They play a crucial role in the feasibility analysis of new project developments by providing data-driven insights and models for long-term traffic & revenue forecasts. MISIÓN:

-Implantación de Planes de Seguridad y Salud y controlar la eficacia de las medidas previstas en obra.

-Asesorar e impulsar la implantación del Sistema de Gestión Preventivo de la empresa, comprobando su efectividad y cumplimiento.

-Realizar controles periódicos de las condiciones de trabajo en obra.

-Realizar según el Art.19 de la Ley 31/1995 de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales dentro de sus competencias así como charlas informativas.

-Investigar y reportar los incidentes y accidentes generando los informes necesarios.

-Realizar o gestionar evaluaciones y mediciones higiénicas y ergonómicas.

-Asesorar a la línea de producción en materia de Seguridad y Salud.

-Colaborar en la revisión de la documentación de las empresas subcontratistas.

About us:

Alamo NEX Construction, LLC is a part of the Ferrovial Group in Texas. In 2021, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) selected Alamo NEX Construction, LLC, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction Texas, LLC and DBW, LLC (both Ferrovial Group subsidiaries), to complete the Interstate 35 (I-35) NEX Central Project. This project is a $1.5 billion Texas Design-Build (DB) project through the cities of San Antonio, Live Oak, Selma, and Schertz that will consist of non-tolled improvements along I-35, I-140, and Loop 1604. The proposed improvements will include the addition of elevated managed lanes to I-35, addition of 4 connector bridges at the I-35/I-410 North interchange, addition of 4 connector bridges at the I-35/Loop 1604 interchange, and widening of Loop 1604 in Bexar and Guadalupe Counties.

The position of Post-tensioning Technician will perform post-tensioning functions for Equipment department of Alamo NEX Construction LLC of the I35 NEX project. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure controls are established and followed.  

  • Participates in pre-project and pre-task planning activities then communicates with field crews. 

  • Motivates team members to work together to accomplish post-tensioning tasks, coordinate work activities with other construction project activities and assign work to employees. 

  • Ensure crews are operating all tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner. 

  • Provides training and assistance to crews in the performance of post-tensioning work-related tasks. 

  • Completes essential paperwork in a clear and accurate manner 

  • Provides safety leadership.   

  • Control of materials and equipment. 

  • Supervise the installation of post-tensioning materials 

  • Tendon installation of Tecpresa PT system. 

  • Stressing of Tepcresa PT system tendons and bars. 

  • Grout trials of the PT tendons. 

  • Grout and seal duct vents & grout caps.  

  • Post grout inspection. 

  • Quality assurance of the deliverables production in the project. 

  • Any other reasonable request deemed necessary by management.  

  • Equipment maintenance and gauge calibrations 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2-4 years of work experience in similar document control positions preferred. 

  • Level-2 Multistrand and Grouted PT Specialist (PTI) 

  • ASBI Certified Grouting Technician

Ferrovial Construction is looking for a Project Controls Engineer to support on infrastructure projects in the Heathrow airport.

Ferrovial Construction has been working at Heathrow Airport for over 12 years delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects to high quality, safety and environmental standards. We have focused on design and build projects with a mix of contractual arrangements. This has enabled us to refine our management procedures in response to Heathrow’s Employers Requirements and Ferrovial Construction own internal management systems.

Since joining Heathrow’s framework in 2008, Ferrovial Construction has delivered a variety of airside and landside projects across the whole airport. For example, we have delivered new taxiways and rehabilitated existing taxiways and the southern runway. We have also redeveloped sterile and grass areas and replaced critical assets, such as fire main, fuel main and HV ducts. We are currently working alongside Heathrow to rehabilitate assets with expired design life’s and plan for a future runway resurfacing project. Resumen del Puesto

Buscamos un/a Encargado/a de Edificación para FERROVIAL CONSTRUCCIÓN, S.A. que supervise y coordine las obras de edificación, garantizando la correcta ejecución de los proyectos en tiempo, coste y calidad. Será responsable de la gestión del equipo de obra y del cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad.

Responsabilidades

* Planificar, organizar y supervisar las actividades diarias en la obra de edificación.
* Coordinar y dirigir al equipo de trabajo a su cargo, asignando tareas y controlando su desempeño.
* Controlar la ejecución de los trabajos según los planos, especificaciones técnicas y programa de obra.
* Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad y salud laboral en la obra.
* Gestionar y controlar los recursos materiales, maquinaria y herramientas necesarios para el desarrollo del proyecto.
* Realizar el seguimiento del presupuesto y los plazos de ejecución, informando de cualquier desviación.

* Experiencia mínima de 3-5 años como Encargado/a de Edificación en proyectos de construcción, preferiblemente en edificación residencial o terciaria.
* Amplios conocimientos en técnicas constructivas, materiales, mediciones y presupuestos.
* Capacidad de liderazgo, gestión de equipos y resolución de problemas.
* Conocimiento y aplicación de la normativa de seguridad y salud en el trabajo.
* Habilidad para interpretar planos y documentos técnicos.
* Disponibilidad para trabajar en distintas ubicaciones de proyecto.

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

The Field Engineer is the liaison between the construction site and the office and provides support to the Project Engineer and the Project Superintendent. The support goals include production tracking, operational planning, communicating, organizing, implementing, and tracking project data. The Field Engineer is in the field 75%-90% of the time, and the more time spent in the field, the more you will learn about construction management to do your job and grow in the company more effectively. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Collaborating with all project staff to ensure that work plans are tracked and analyzed to maximize efficiency in the field operations. 

  • Developing, maintaining, and reporting the daily quantities installed and performed. 

  • Analyzing and comparing budgeted vs actual production rates and yield in materials. 

  • Assisting in ensuring that field work is being constructed within project standards and specifications. 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or something similar 

  • Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

Are you wanting to get your foot in the door at a fast-growing Company? Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic Estimator to join our team. 

 

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation 

The position of Estimator will analyze, prepare and review bids (including earthwork, utilities, mechanical piping, and amenities) for heavy civil (roadway, highway, bridge) projects. Must have experience estimating on large ($50 mm plus) projects utilizing all delivery methods. 

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Access cost effectiveness of products, projects or service. 

  • Track actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Track actual commodities pricing for items that may impact cost before bid or during buy-out phase. 

  • Consult with clients, vendors and personnel in other departments to discuss project and formulate strategies, estimates and resolve conflict issues. 

  • Confer with engineers, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. 

  • Review plans and specifications for general compliance and standard industry practices for utility and water/wastewater treatment plant projects. 

  • Responsible for through review and understanding of all correspondence required during bidding phase of project including but not limited to: Plans, Specifications, Bid Forms, RFI's, Clarifications and Addenda. 

  • Administer full cycle take-offs and pricing for your assigned divisions, subcontractor coordination, evaluation of skills, bid preparation and submittal of bid. This includes when only 30-60% plans are available. 

  • Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors for your divisions using SmartBidNet software. 

  • Prepare sub-bid analysis documents for use by project team in qualifying sub-bids and material. 

  • Prepare electronic estimates including preliminary cost information 

  • Prepare documentation and estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing and scheduling work. 

 

Who You Are: A Profile of Success 

  • Experience in all delivery methods – Hard Bid, CSP, CMAR, CMGC and Design Build. 

  • A minimum Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar degree.  

  • Experience in operating estimating software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, Timberline, WinEst, etc. 

  • Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word. 

  • Ability to work largely independently, be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative, managing multiple deadlines at one time. 

  • Ability to work as part of a team throughout pre-construction stage. 

  • Valid driver license for occasional, required travel
